Exactly. P3 and P4 cast were more 'alive' than P5 cast in battle. Idle animations are a must! Let the characters show off themselves in the mean time!

Yeah, I wish they make FeMC available too, but I also kinda doubt they will based on what this preview showed. Maybe they’re saving it for a later trailer or announcement, but I can also understand it will take a lot to recreate her story as well, since it had a different tonal feel then MC’s story. It can definitely be done, but should also be done right to keep the personalities the same too, y’know? I’m excited for more gameplay and info like that to drop as it gets closer to release. Was interesting to see, at least in this teaser, the MC’s awakening looked to be full CG and not an anime cutscene, like original P3, 4 and 5. Maybe those are still getting worked on or maybe the budget wasn’t there 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hope they bring over the FeMC into the Remake. It would make Persona 3 worth it for me since Persona 5 Royal doesn't have a female joker 😂

@@mayly8960 Well it’s not like they don’t care about the Femc, it’s just that adding her in would’ve taken way more time and effort. A completely new model with new animations, more social links to code in aswell as events to program and animate for those social links, probably completely new music for her aswell, new cutscenes including the Femc and so on. All that work for something completely optional that not everyone is going to experience. If they truly didn’t care then I feel like they would’ve just ignored her like earlier Persona games.

@@mayly8960 P3P wasn't ported to *just* switch, it went to PC (Steam), PS4/PS5, XB1/XS *and* Switch after being trapped on PSP and Vita (which had native PSP and PS1 emulation) for the longest time. Even on Vita; P3P was never "ported" but rather ran as a 2x upscale emulation going from the PSP's 480x272p (1/16th of 1080p basically) to the Vita's 960x544p (1/4th of 1080p basically). Even on the VitaTV/PSTV microconsole (a Vita 2000 without screen or inputs in a new body running off AC mains) you could only get 720p or 1080i output (1080i is half the data bandwidth of 1080p) and P3P was *still* emulated in Vita hardware.

If they don’t then none of the fanbase will be happy and people will complain. That might push them to make DLC for at least The Answer if they aren’t already planning it.

​@@Gael-xp4fk but this isn't the original, it's a remake and a remake is supposed to remake the original, changing things improving other things even probably changing the story a bit it's all part of what a remake is, it doesn't need to be the same as the original for that just play the port

Except you never actually see the ocean in the game over world. The sea of souls is a concept that isn’t exclusive to Persona 3 as it’s also in Persona 1. And it especially doesn’t make sense when you consider the fact that the original game typically used the light blue motif to represent the night, which actually does play a substantial role in the story. I’m sure there’s a reason for it, but it’s just not very evident. The island you meet Aigis on is a short part of the story aswell, and motifs are typically a reoccurring and pronounced part of a story. You also have to consider the fact that entire menu is water based, and for a game like Persona you’re gonna be seeing the menu a lot, so it’s seems sort of strange to make something that plays such a minor role in the story be something you see your entire play through.

Also Tartarus is likely still going to be 200+ floors!! We are so back!!! I'm so happy they didn't change that.

Kotone's route means making the entire game again, social links and all. Too much for a DLC. If she hasn't appeared here, she most likely not in the game.

I also Hope that we get Kotone but I also hope we may get the original voice actors for English

All things considered it would probably take a lot of work, if it was a dlc, they’d probably charge like half the base games price lmao.

So many pros and cons throughout all of the ports and additional adaptations. They need to be combined into one thing. I’m so worried about how this will go.

I don't think FemMC will be in Reload, sadly. I think they'll release another version (like Royal) where she'll finally be included.

I have some big nostalgia for Fire Emblem, and am, too, very interested in how a similar SRPG system will turn out in a Persona title! :)
