Droid Black is one of my PAA favs too. The other day I had finished using a Gillette Nacet so decided to try one of the oddball blades I have. It was a Derby Premium and I had forgotten how bad they were, each side efferent than the other but both grabbing the whiskers instead of cutting. It almost made me want to switch to a Strangelet, lol. Have a nice week Matt.

Your lather based on what your preparation report, 14(ml)*0.20288(teaspoon/ml)=2.84 teaspoons of water. You might also have obtained enough lather for this shave if used one-eighth teaspoon of soap and about 1.42 teaspoons of water. This is about the ratio I commonly use.

Droid Black is my favorite scent of all my shaving soaps and creams. For my nose, it has a pineapple vibe which I really enjoy. Droid Black is the perfect soap for a Sunday shave. In fact, it is probably the only PAA soap I would re-purchase. Not because I don't like the other PAA soaps. But because I have so many soaps and creams already. BTW, I'm not in the market for one of your $40 boxes. But I could make one up for you 😉

That's funny, I'm catching up on things because I was at a bachelor party all weekend. Awesome razor! It's one that I've wanted, but my razor list is quite long. I do need to pick up a sample of Droid Black when I do my order to PAA. It does sound like a scent I would like but I'm never sure because I have different likes that most and I do like some of the real odd-ball scents. Take care!

I also purchased many other samples by phoenix just to see what other scents I would like, but sadly, I didn't like any of them. Oh, I wanted to ask if you have tried the Droid black star Jelly? Doppelgänger grey is a homage to creed Adventus. I think it’s a nice scent. Droid black is similar to it but it on the sweeter side. Scents are really a personal preference. I would try to match it up with something you know you like. Thanks for watching!
