@@skeletonwguitar4383 I believe it came from the AAR. He originally believed it to be malfunctioning, but later examination revealed he never turned it on. Which, is certainly possible in the heat of the moment. But I can search it out later
Jesus christ what a masterclass in cinematography. Musical score on point. This had me on the edge of my seat, pucker factor 10, while at the same time being hit with the emotion and horrors of war and the loss. W O W
The shots from the soccer field are probably some of my favorite from any DCS Cinematic. Something about military hardware surrounded by civilian infrastructure feels so surreal.
Imagine being a fighter pilot and doing something _so head-explodingly legendary_ that Ace Combat’s top fan artist stops what he’s doing and _makes a video about your REAL-LIFE achievement._ Cheers, Stroke 3. Excellent work as always, Nassault!
@@bennettleffew War Thunder players try not to be inconsistent as fuck challenge, *impossible.* Then they will nip at anyone that wants the game to be consistent with time continuity and implementation. War Thunder has the cancer combo of bad. >Trash company >Scumbag employees >Washed out community that worships being fed trash >Zombie influencers >Scumbag state support >Market cornered >No competition >Gamblecore . mp3
@@bennettleffew I keep saying to WT fans, if I wanted the real deal, I would have joined the Air Force. We play Ace Combat for the fun and the melodrama. I love it. Not everybody has the time or the patience to fly virtual sortie that last more than hour. It's boring. Only the nerdiest of the nerd do it on DCS.
Don't think anyone has ever been able to re-capture the wildness of this encounter as well as you did, your skill in cinematography, audio editing and storywriting remain impeccable Nassault, keep it up. c:
I had just finished playing AC4 for the first time last week and then watched your Comona video just looking for the ost. After finishing the other two ps2 ACs, I went down the real footage rabbit hole and had only just discovered the package q six sam incident literally yesterday. The timing is surreal. also cool vid💀
That was very intense just with the combat chatter alone It makes you feel like you were actually there and none of us could ever experience anything like that Hats off to that squadron especially stroke 3 and a moment of silence for stroke 4
Breathtaking. Unbelievably so. Not sure why I teared up during this, our boys did make it home, after all. But your presentation, your respect for all sides showing them on the ground. Your talent is anything but ordinary my friend. I am so glad I found this channel so many years ago.
Ironically, I learned of this engagement when you use audio from this in your Glatisant video, so it's really cool to see this come full circle. This is really well done, movie stuff in real life
The audio from this engagement gets used in so many videos of fictional dogfights, it's refreshing to see such a masterful cinematic tribute to the source material. Well done.
It is still mind boggling how this man dodged all that without popping his flares, seeing how his CM was malfunctioning. Massive skill Also, 42 second notif gang
I love this brother! Please make more of these if you can, your quality has gotten so much better over time to the point it's getting hard to tell a RU-vidr made this instead of something like the History channel. Keep it up!
Nassault...... I came for the ace combat but I'm here for your absolute passion for air combat. I was happy to call the mission you were doing in the preview post but seeing it all unfold with your skillful and excellent storytelling is amazing. You are doing great things and I know you will be even greater!
It always hits me, after Stoke 4 is hit, one guy calls for his status, and after a second of no response you get Stroke 3 screaming "Stroke 4, status!" while he is still in the middle of dealing with his own problems.
Its only fitting that one of the most amazing stories in the history of modern aviation be brought to life by the greatest aviation appreciator I know.
Still hard to hear all the stress in his voice knowing how hard he was working. Im very glad he came back alive. This just goes to show how well our pilots are trained when you have the largest defense budget in the world. Well done Nassault!
Beautiful work as always. I knew it was only a matter of time before you made a video of this historic moment. I look forward to seeing what you make next!
What an amazing video TheLonelyViper pretty much summed up what I wanted to say nevertheless the video was 5 stars I hope one day you have the chance to make an hour long movie I bet you could win an award for indie animated movies
oh damn thats crazy just like a few days ago i remembered this channel and checked to see if there were any uploads and was like "damn maybe he moved on to something". Then this masterfully done video comes out today.
@@AxolotlAndy you do realize the AIM-9L, an all aspect IR missile, the first of it's kind, if I'm not mistaken, went into full production in 1977? Which, for the record, was about the time the Soviets were just getting their rear aspect only R-60 missile into service. The AIM-9L was first used in combat in 1981 on Tomcats during the Gulf of Sidra incident? And was later used to great effect during the Falklands war in 1982? and seeing how the Cold War was not over yet, Raytheon would have pumped them out in sufficient numbers by 1991 to equip most if not all US military fighters with all aspect IR missiles.
@Nassault of course you remember LOL those videos changed my life tbh. Made me realize how fragile life and everything was. Truly put everything into perspective. Specifically that "Pale Blue Dot" video from 10 years ago. Great work, youve come a long way.
@@Nassault yes sir, keep up the great work! its honestly a dream you even replied, your videos are a core memory and found me the song that got me into music. "to build a home" by "a cinematic orchestra". its so nice to see you're still making videos!
Damn, the SA-2 may have been a relic of the Vietnam War but it's still scary seeing one on your radar 🫣 Once again an absolute masterpiece, Nassault. They should hire you to make a full movie one day 🙌
Man i hope the operations room does a recap of the whole package q strike, would go nicely with this. Edit wait he did and i just missed it all this time... Lol ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H8InuaTRKnY.htmlsi=6u-aC5xMgzHmPtmA
