Great value for money. I love that VH31 movement. Not only because is ike having an automatic one, but also because of the price. I just hope they add more colors like a glossy black dial for example or the new ice blue dial that they added to the explorer homage. Regards.
This is true especially as the mechanical movement s like the NH35 started to go up in price due to lack of availability. It used to be there was only about $10 in difference in general price, more recently that small gap got quite a bit larger. I'm also curious how the ice blue explorer will look in person, certainly seems like it would be a good match for this GS style. Thanks for watching!
I have this watch too, love it. Let's hope Pagani make more dials with less text on them, and more VH31 movt inside. As you say even the bracelet seems to have better QC too. Thanks
Very nice mate, I think for the price it's decent, the movement choice makes it better as well. We all prefer a sweep than a clunk. The blue dial is really nice. I have the ivory version on a leather strap which I'll be looking at soon. Keep up the great work
Thanks, look forward to your review on the ivory one on leather. I'm thinking the leather would look good on this blue dial variant also, but haven't taken the bracelet off yet. This is my first VH31 but I've been looking to pick up one for a while as I love the concept (and the fact it forces no-dates)
Very valuable to me. Have you seen the all new PD-1734, which essentially the same design, but w/ differently textured dials, and gold hands and hour markers??? Great job
I did see that but was a little surprised they increased the case size to 40mm for that release (and added additional text on the dial). Looks like a good release, but the gold isn't really my style. I would have prefered the blue for example to be silver hands and indicies and if they are going to add gold make it more like the GS that inspires it with say a gold sweep and gold logo. That said, I appreciate the fact they did add a "gold" watch to the lineup for those that perfer gold to silver.
I got this one as my first watch i buy for years. Its ok but just a bit little for my hand. Its a good watch .But the ''leather''bracelet just was horrible and i had to use the Nato strap instead.
Sorry it wasn't quite what you hoped for. I have a general rule to buy on the stainless steel bracelet as other types of straps are very easy to find and retrofit where it can be very difficult to find a matching metal bracelet that fits right. 38mm which is about the size of this watch is a good classic dress watch size (arguably even a little large for that function). I have a slightly above average wrist size (at 7.5 inches) and find it is about right. Hopefully you warm up to it a bit more over time.
