I just removed my bracelet and threw it in the corner. Very hard to remove the end links, like they are not meant for this watch. I would still buy it, it’s available now for 38e.

This is a very nice watch. Like the dial colour! In fact we've seen some tasteful watch from Pagani Design. The design isn't an outright Grand Seiko copy. But as you already mentioned GS and I happen to own one. The way the end links are integrated with that tiny polished inwards sloping section of the lugs together with the small recess is exactly how it's done on the GS, so it's intentional.

Cheers Alex, I really like the dial as well. I think you're right, it takes inspiration from GS rather than being a close homage. Interesting comments regarding end link integration ... I have this same model, received it a couple weeks ago after purchasing it on sale. I’m happy with it. Nice weight and comfortable. I don’t have any issues with the bracelet except that upon arrival all of the link screws were loose (I tightened them and they’re fine now). I think it’s a good buy under $100. Good video as always!

Great review mate, I wish I'd have gone for this dial colour now after seeing it because its so much nicer than the one I have. Bracelets do seem to be one of their shortcomings and often get overlooked. But its not the worse I've seen from them.

I think for the money, this is a decent watch, I hear what you say about the bracelet, but my beloved Kamasu has a pressed clasp and hollow end links so this is better. There is a lot to like about this, handsome dial, sapphire, solid movement, stick a £10 AE tanned leather strap on it and jobs a good un… good work 👍🏻

Cheers, that's really appreciated! If it was me, I'd wait for the next sale, there's one due on Monday 22 August. If you want, you can add it to your cart now and wait for the sale to commence before checking out. According to the site Caliber Corner, the VH31 takes the 371 (SR920SW) battery and the battery life is approx 2 years. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

@@casteltheghettomonk4392 looks like the price has went up to just under £32, price is fluctuating all over the place, my advice would be to just keep on checking and you’ll prob find it goes up and down like a pair of nuns knickers, or try the old trick of sticking one in your basket and leaving it, sometimes they’ll come back with a discount offer, best of luck 👍

This quartz watch doesn't need winding but looks like an automatic, right? So, it's mimicking the Grand Seiko spring drive? Looks great, and I'm thinking of getting one..Thanks for the video:)

You're welcome! Correct, no winding required, it's a battery powered quartz movement. I think the GS spring drive fully sweeps, whereas this movement ticks 4 times per second, like a 2hz mechanical watch. There's a slight trade-off, that the battery life (about 2 years) is a less than your usual quartz movement, that only ticks once per second. But batteries are cheap and easy to replace, so not a big issue IMO. Thanks for watching!

Why as a quartz does it need to be nearly 13mm?! The only miss-step I can see to this watch.
