PAID EARLY ACCESS?? Enhanced Level 70 Boost & Special New Mount - Is It Worth It?? 

WoW is almost 20 years old and they are pricing their expansion as if the game is just being released. Blizzard is out of their minds doing this with Dragonflight being the lowest selling expansion in the games history and with the population being BARELY above FFXIVs now. A base price for an expansion should not be above $39.99 and even that is too high for WoW since the story has sucked as long as it has. The developers do not have a full grasp on what their problems actually are in why people left and why WoW has such a horrible time retaining new players as they are making THAT even worse now that they are going to be making Dragonflight, the "leveling experience". "Hey we have a game with 20 YEARS worth of content, come join us as we try to make you not do ANY OF IT and making you confused as fuck...but, come for the STORY that we dont want you to even know!". ~ Blizzard developers. They are shooting themselves in the foot with a bazooka and dont even realize it.

Wrong. Fraction and serverchanges etc. should be for free anyway. Maybe with a cooldown like 1 char per week or 3 chars per month but that's it.

I did that when is started back to dragonflight. The epic edition upgrade was on sale for 20 bucks for me so 5 dollars more I got a whole lot of goodies. not as good of a deal as you got. but still good imo

Getting a free 70 boost even with the base edition is definitely well worth it imho

@@_jvyden_5156 Yup that helps aswell. I have 60 out of 60 chara on 70 qnd 67 70's in total, so nothing for me. But many player don't like leveling or some may be new or had a break and want to play with friends on max level so this is fine.

Bugged for me as well. Even purchased a second 70 boost in game just to check :(. Not sure if it’s campaign related since you can’t start the initial campaign quest. Or something else.

This is the same as BFA when they said you now have shared rep. That was utter BS, nothing changed and the vendors just gave you the finger.

I did the orientation quest line and it shows all the reps at 20+

yes that's the big issue, its such a huge economic boost that its going to be crushing to not buy it for anyone who likes to make money.

Yeah, there are always bugs or oversights too that get hot fixed after a day or two, there was a quest mob in df that was super easy to kill and gave you really really good skinning loot. It got fixed after a day but I made like a million gold in that time. Same happened in SL too.

@@dulcetwho5770 doesn't appear so. i checked the old wowhead posts and screenshots, nothing about early access or even beta. it did have 60 days of gametime instead of 30 though. D4 had early access, maybe thats what youre remembering? EDIT: appears Dracthyr were available early.

Nice suggestion. If only I was good enough at gold farming to make 1.32 mil to save $60 lol I don't have many responsibilities (no kids :P) so it's basically half a day's pay but this endeavour could take me a month or more and still not cover the $100 edition with tax included. Early access feels kinda discriminatory to people who can't afford it, as if $15 a month isn't bad enough...that's a Gamepass sub, and you get way more value there.

@@Rob165x Making gold is easy enough but yes this amount of gold would require a lot more work. I wasn't saying to use all gold to pay but you could get 15.00 for around 300k gold. If you can come up with 600k gold you can use that to make the difference up.

@@Rob165x You can do that as well but they were talking about people not being able to get the early access if they don't have the epic version. This could help them get it so they won't miss out.

Its awful. You almost NEED a friend to help out or read a lot / watch videos to not get overwhelmed Friends of mine tried playing and realized its just too much at once.

I suppose it depends on what kind of content you enjoy. You can do the story quest to get caught up, do the raid when it releases, get into some M+, PVP, farm dreamsurge/timesurge... To me, there's not a lot to do once you have 430-440 gear but wait for the new raid. WoW doesn't really have much fun content nowadays outside of raiding and dungeons. Once you clear all of that, it's just more of the same.

@@Fleshbag453 I end up just doing a few types AH business with farmed materials. Don't really make anything - I use to, but the raw mats sell for more or equal to the finished item. JC materials and mining and one skinning item on occasion. But I get it. Some people aren't built that way. Just doing normal questing still will add up if you're not spending on stuff. I figure I can make about 100K gold a week. But I don't buy stuff unless it's to purchase items that are under the vendor price and then just flip them. Not huge rewards there but every little bit helps.

@@Fleshbag453 I don't either. I am on a medium server as my main, have a couple of off servers, one low, one full. I have 1.1M on the full server which I made from selling and buying pets. But pets, transmog and just about anything that isn't a mat, SUCKS at the moment. Part of that is due to the nature of who plays wow at this point. Need new blood. or a new expac next year. I doubt today's patch is going to make much difference though I'm hoping for a reduction of the cost of a token. I'm keeping my eye on it

@@leequesada439 the point is to use the current tier set bonus to help during M+ and prob normal raid or so, since the 424s provided depending on the class you play doesn't really provide the best stats for the class. keep in mind tier set bonus can range from 10-25% damage increase.

I buy nothing but base. That's me though as I'm not interested in the other features as it's mainly eye candy for an extra $40. Right now Blizzard is trying to get me to buy Diablo IV at half price, which won't happen. But it doesn't say much for all those poor souls who bought it at the original price.

No not in patch 10.2. But it is supposed to become available outside of the Dragon Isles in patch 10.2.5.

Raids generally don’t release for a week or two after the launch. The most people will get is mythic level dungeons done.

I agree that it is being way over blown but then again many content creators have built their reputation/brand on trashing anything Blizzard does. They have built a community that expects to hear bad things, so they have to make a major stink about something or their own community would revolt, costing the creator real money….one of the major reasons I like this channel. It is based on quality content, not feeding the angry mob for views.

Oh I thought early access was still Tuesday and the normal release date is Friday this time around.

Supposedly, with the 10.2.5 patch we will be able to use Dynamic Flying in all the zones of Azeroth (where flying is allowed).
