I fucking love this man. I hysterically cried to this. He’s gone through hell and back, and he’s still thriving. He takes a message and learns to use it to his advantage in life from all of his experiences. That is one of the most admirable things that a person can be able to do. He puts himself out there and is able to come up with all of these grand ideas, and form them into a reality. If only I could do that too. He gives me hope. Mark talking about knowing that he is going to die eventually made me realise that every single creator that I watched as a child here on RU-vid will die before I do. I will have to watch them all die. All of my childhood heroes, will die. But I would like to thank them all. They were my childhood.

Mark is more than just a RU-vidr, he is a motivational speaker and an influencer. He has so much knowledge and intellect to give to people and he does this while still being a hilarious and joyful person. I think that is why we all love him so much.

The fact that the doctors didn't listen to the patient, the patient's family, and the patients *NURSES* tells me that those people should not be doctors. There are ways to report malpractice without going straight to a lawsuit, and I really wish someone would have held this hospital responsible for their willful negligence. It worries me to think how they might be treating other patients since then.

I didn’t realize you posted this three years ago. I am glad that I stumbled across this because I was meant to hear it. Thank you for opening up my perspective. Last year I suffered a stroke due to an allergic reaction. I lost my ability to read and write and it’s put a damper on a lot of things that I was hoping to accomplish. I refuse to allow this to break me however I do have my moments where I am discouraged. And seeing this message is basically telling me to not allow anything to stop me regardless of the circumstances take everything in stride learn from the situation and keep going. I wish I could hug you because you don’t understand how much this message meant to me.

Literally would have tried everything I could to sue that doctor until their life was in shambles no matter what it took.

This made me realize he won't be here forever, I already knew it, but it didn't process it all together... This man saved my life and still does to this day. He'll never know it, but I love him more than I do myself. He puts a smile on my face every time I see his videos. Mark, I know you'll never see this, but thank you.

It makes me think after having also been there for Unus Annus that this moral is something he holds close to himself and tries to get across to his viewers in many ways.

Pain management and recognising actual patients in pain is really a field that physicians need to get more education on. I faced many similar circumstances to Mark's situation.

The worst pain I have ever felt was when I found out that my gallbladder was infected. the pain was awful, it felt like I was being stabbed over and over again and I was just laying in the emergency room holding back the screams of agony from the pain. Ended up being admitted into the hospital and I had my gallbladder removed and to this day I’m pain free. Was it worth it? Yes, yes it was and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

That was the best video I have ever seen. Usually my favorite videos were hilarious gaming, or random cat videos but this was just a great guy talking about live and pain and his out look on it. It was incredible and felt like 10 minutes, Mark you are a great person.

Intentional or not, malicious or innocent, he should have sued. This is literally the thing malpractice suits were made for. He was in agony that I wouldn't wish upon anyone, and the doctor treated him like a junkie looking for a fix because he was too damn stubborn to check a prescription.

The most pain I've ever experienced having stitches in my face the doctor didn't let the painkiller work so I FELT THE NEEDLE IN MY FACE.

I feel like this video should motivate me. It should make me feel like I CAN get through the pain I have right now. But… it doesn’t. Don’t get me wrong, it definitely makes me hurt in the best way, but like… “what you put into it is what you get out of it…” I AM putting in anger and pointing fingers… I KNOW it won’t help anything… but even if I don’t WANT to I can’t STOP. the nurses and doctors acting like you’re faking it for more meds happened to me, too and it’s one of the most awful things. the hurt and frustration of people not believing you is awful on its own but paired with the pain after a surgery? in my case a spinal surgery, it’s the worst

sobbing about how real and special this is and he really talks to us and makes us feel connected to him :,). he is very wise. mark is just a really sweet sweet soul. he is such a saint to be sharing these memories with us and talking to us about this and i find that really sweet. he really has a special impact with his fans and such an inspiration and overall very warm-hearted charming guy. he gives me a lot of hope and i thank you for that really. i love these types of videos i just wanna give him a big ole hug, we love you mark. 🤍

Can I just say that this really shows a lot about Mark’s character. 1) The fact that he was begging for the medicine rather than threatening or yelling at someone and later didn’t want to sue them, and 2) That he said “I don’t wanna die” from the pain, rather than “I want to die to end this pain” like I would’ve done. I still think he should have sued. All the doctors had to do was double-check instead of making assumptions. Incompetent doctors kill people.

Mark you are such a wholehearted being! The time I hit my rock bottom is when a close friend I knew for 6 years since freshmen high school and seen him as a brother to me one day he changed entirely. Started listening to the toxic people that he knew w everyone in our group didn’t want to associate with and didn’t want to be around. When he made a lie about someone in that group and an enemy we all never dare to mention his name(yes that’s how bad the person was) that was the hardest thing I’ve been through. And it didn’t stop there, at some point I wanted to make amends with his partner because I knew she was hurt by the fact we kicked him out of the group but still saw her as a friend. She said we we’re cool and I even showed concern about the relationship, a few hours later she allows a different enemy we hate to harass me and the amount of betrayal I’ve felt. Keep in mind I’ve been through a lot of psychological distress far more than physical pain, and that was my rock bottom because never in my life did I think two people that close to me would one day betray me. I felt like everything that has happened those 6 years knowing both of them was an absolute lie that was pulled off for so long and far too long. I wanted so much vengeance upon them for breaking me far worse than anyone ever did and eventually one of their accounts was banned and I felt a bit better. Hearing your story makes me realize even if you deserved vengeance you refused to result things that way.

You're not the person that we deserve but you sure as hell are the person we need. - - - - - - And to the question of pain, I don't think any of my physical or emotional hardships are anywhere close to any of the stories here. My pain is insignificant compared to the stories I've heard. - - - But If anyone wants to have a similar thing validated I'll mention my own. I suffer from stomach pains and depending on my choices I can either make them worse or be fine. But the worst time that I had one, it was such a severe pain in my lower abdomen. It was only a moment after the pain started that I developed fever-like symptoms and then I started to shake pretty badly. I had to ride it out because I didn't know what more I could do. Or maybe you want something silly? I fell through play equipment and split my eyelid in half (horizontally) At first I had no clue what was happening but I knew I was bleeding or something. Anyway, I'm taken to the hospital by my mum and I realise that I had a new ability to see the world in red(I no longer see red of course).

I started cringing so hard while he described him clawing out his neck like that. Just the thought of that is painful, jeez
