I have a serious problem I always wanna listen to this theme song but every single time I listen to it I wanna watch pain vs naruto I can stop my self.I watched it 60 times already. seriously someone help me.

Man the Pain Arc was so more emotional powerful to watch! I was so intrigue by pains story.

The sorrowful beauty of such a tormented soul could only be described though such darkly beautiful music. I only wish there were a way to immortalize it in the minds of all men.

I love Pain's story, he's the only villain that I can understand why he went so evil. Madara Obito and Orochimaru just seem to have hissy fits about little shit.

Best Villain Ever for me his character IS a masterpiece, best Arc and Best theme (Girei) in the series straight up. Pain and Itachi are the greatest Written Characters kishimoto created for me, even though Naruto and Sasuke are the main ones.

Pain actually stated the truth about our world.. As long as there are humans existing on earth, there will be no peace. Though it is not hatred that is constantly causing wars. It is the overwhelming egoism and approaching for power that is causing wars on earth. That is the only difference between the shinobi world and ours. Pain is correct in his views, though his appliances to end wars and achieve peace differs from the moral views our society has. That is why he is my favorite character. He understands that there is actually no real peace, as long as there are humans existing, that is .

Every word pain said was real and relates to human world and he influenced me a lot. I will never forget pain as long as I live.

I still wish he was the final antagonist and everyone else was merely secondary. I cared about this antagonist, but I could care less about the others.

i simply cannot fathom this theme.. the magnitude coming from this really is fitting for nothing less than a God. Pain aka Nagato.. hands down. I love him. Awesome reasoning. By far one of the best anime characters ever.

music plays and door flies open, a gust of wind blowing into the class, signaling my epic arrival. the class grows silent, and take their seat, with only the teacher remaining in the far opposite side of the classroom standing. Our eyes meet, he looks at me with a challenge in his eyes, and shifts his glasses up the bridge of his nose coolly. I clench my fist ready. the teacher then hurls razor sharp test at me like shuriken. I charge head on, with my golden pencil unsheathed. I began answering questions rapidly in mid air, and then I answer one test so epically it is sliced cleanly in half in front of my surprised teachers face. He smirks and immediately retaliates by launching missile pencils at me, I dodge by doing an exaggerated slow motion backflip in the air. The teacher then grows pencil claws and jumps up into the air and dramatically throws them at me. I dodge them but they stick to the wall exploding. the explosion catches me by surprise and I have barely enough time to react to the stapler the teacher picks up, firing 9mm staples at me at high speeds. the staples stick to my shirt electrocuting me. I deflect the next few with my pencil. the teacher takes out his meter stick, which immediately he spins rapidly causing it to be electrified. He charges at me, and we clash. this goes on for an hour, with each of us weary and beat up. the teacher takes out his apple and bites into it, he is then joined by clones of himself. they all rush me about the pounce and attack me with their meter sticks, but before they make contact a large blue beam comes from the sky and hits me, energizing me with power. My eyes turn blue and I create a large shockwave blasting the clones and the teacher back and slicing the entire school building in half, before it explodes and crumbles. I land on top of the rubble pile and my graded test emblazoned with a glowing blue 'A+' floats down into my outreached hand. I walk away from the scene walking into the sunset, test in hand, as the music ends. I give one slight glance back.

The 6th pain yahiko was my favorite out of all the pains yahiko was the strongest and the smartest and the coolest out of all the pains

I've searched about this theme & found this to be the most believable explanation for the lyrics of the song. Just sharing! Spread the word of Pein! ;) LYRICS: "Me sei no Rikudo Aniki no boku Girei te no ronri Kono te boku wa" If we translate the lyrics from Japanese into English they actually make sense for Pain’s character. The first line is about his “Pair of Six Paths Eyes” which would be referencing his Rinnegan. The second line can be translated to “Anonymous” which describes how he uses surrogate bodies and a pseudonym rather than his real name. An alternate translation of this line is “My older brother” which would instead be referencing Yahiko, the friend of Nagato (Pain) whose corpse is now used as Pain’s main body for his Six Paths jutsu. The third line is roughly translated to “Hand of providence” and also seems to refer to his Rinnegan since they’re considered the sign of a god. The final line is simply a declaration that “This is what I am.” The man known as Pain is the sum of all these things. This has to be one of the best villain themes of all time, whether you know anime, movies, comics, or shorts. It is awe-inspiring, terrifying, nearly megalithic sounding, and has a gravity and deathly sound to it. Pein as a character was absolutely the best personality, his fight with Naruto was my favourite, and the music and anime for the fight was spectacular. Just that dirge at the start, it makes me think of the Undertaker, but an opposite a Godlike being, the arrival of a God upon the battlefield. I know he is not the most powerful nowadays, but great music, character, and powers have to be tied together and this theme certainly does it.

its cool and interesting how Pain tries to teach a lesson. This guy was so freaking powerful taking on the 9 tails.

Pain Arc was the sadest arc. Pain said a quote that got me think, " As long as there's people in the world, hatred will make its way upon us, and war will start..."

The series pretty much died with Pain/Nagato, the only thing that was worth witnessing after the Pain Arc was Guy going 8 Gates against a stupidly overpowerd Madara.

this arc was epic !

The series went downhill after Pain was beat. It became a bit interesting again when the real Madara was facing the Kage but then downhill again afterwards. The anime didn't even end in a traditional manga ending manner. Either way, Naruto v Pain was arguably the best fight of the series. Although the extension of the Naruto v Sasuke fight late in the series was also top tier.

I know Menma is in the opposite world however, Pain and Menma (Menma with Obitos sharingan when he's possessed) Would bring total pain.

STORY TIME!!! Once upon a time a man named "Nagato", the man who wields the Rinnegan, was Yahiko's friend. Yahiko formed the "Akatsuki" when alive and young. Yahiko was sent to Hanzo, and forced Nagato to kill Yahiko or Konan (Yahiko's " ") would die. Yahiko died. 10 or 11 years later, Nagato vows to create peace to the Shinobi world they lived in. Although, Nagato didn't know how to make peace or what it is. So he hired new members to the Akatsuki. The members were "Nagato, Konan, Zetsu, Orochimaru, Deidara, Tobi, Sasori, Itachi, Kisame, Hidan, and Kakazu. They formed their own "Peace" and by doing so, they killed Jinchuriki to make a weapon of "PEACE". 2 weeks later after the re-creation of the Akatsuki, Nagato made Yahiko back to life. By using rods, and his eye. But to make him active, Nagato had to be hook to a super controller thingy, (looks like this 3:38) 2 more weeks later, the Akatsuki attacked shinobi from other nations. Nagato as well did the same thing to Yahiko. And he created "The 6 Paths of Pain". Yahiko (Pein) now led the Akatsuki sense Konan's a girl, Nagato can't walk (BLAH BLAH BHEALCH). Yahiko was a man who seek for peace, a man of justice. A man of a god powers without Nagato's rinnegan. Yahiko... is a shinobi of peace. (THE END)

Whenever I listen to this it makes me sad. It has that dark sad sound which makes me think of my past and all the bad things that have happened to me. But I still love the song a lot in general :)

He was the only who can see the real pain of this and the pain of the Shinobi world. Its not the Money or aniwere. its the Pain of the humans who standing on the front or are in the middle of the figth. This scary of the die ,sadness ,lonleless ,whatever. they feel all the same. so why we can forgot the war and help this people who hasn't a home ,food or a family. sry for my bad english im still learning but i hope that you all understand what i mean.

This theme.... OMG it burns something in you. Without any explanations, you are moved by this music. So special, tragic, desperate and everything at the same time. It's pure despair. Even if you don't watch Naruto, this remains the best OST in the history of Anime ❤ nothing comes close to this
