Very very interesting talk this. Thank you so much. My first episode with a tampon aged thirteen and peculiarly enough assisted by a well meaning relative, was so extruciatingly painful...I had no other options but a tampon in the situation I found myself in and I think that it impacted me as my discomfort when eventually sexually active was at the entrance of he vagina. In addition, later in life I had breast cancer hormone dependent type and I had severe endometriosis and hysterectomy bso. Never felt better afterwards. But the vagina still sensitive at entrance and now internally too because of low estrogen as well. But I now believe my problem also relates to that very first episode with the tampon at thirteen, which I thought of only now... after watching this video and the mention of sexual assault though I was not technically assaulted, it felt like it, as I tensed up, so force was used to the point I became faint and needed reviving. I wonder if there has been studies on painful intercourse correlating with how the first insertion of a tampon went? Was it satisfactory or was it painful?
I'm from India. My wife and myself had very happy sexual life until four years ago when my wife started complaining about intense pain whenever any attempt is made to penetrate. I asked her to consult a doctor but, she hesitated. Now her age is 56 years. Can you suggest a solution to this problem?
