gunpowderandfreedom.etsy.com In this video, I had to paint my patch work from the window removal and try to finish running the electrical for the rough in inspection! Enjoy!
My house here in Missouri was built i think in 97 not totally sure but we hired a house inspector while we were still in Florida. Then we hired an electrician and they went through everything. Some things were missing covers on receptacles and some receptacles replaced by gfci. The inspector also stated that the circuit breakers were all at 30 amps which were too big for the wire. Only panel cover that was still in place was the one in the house, we have 2 buildings and one panel was off and the other one was gone. So one i put back on and the one in the other building we hired another electrician to install a whole new panel and there were a few circuits eliminated. This house was neglected by the previous owners and the people before them had been in trouble with the IRS. Another neighbor bought the property for the acreage and then left 5 acres with the house and two buildings. It would have been nice if we had those 40 acres back but it's okay too!
😬 Electrical work is about the only thing I absolutely refuse to do and run from! So when you’re talking about it I kinda zone out. 😂 Otherwise you have my full attention and admiration. 😊
The guy who taught me to oaint billed $120 an hr on the main line Bala Cynwyd Pa. Keep handle frame in the direction you're painting. Meaning left to right. The metal bracket is the work side of roller and the other is the feather edge side. Less roller marks. I should post a video on how to paint including free hand cut in. I have a bunch of advice so feel free to ask if you need anything. I have to tone down my rhetoric a bit sadly haha.
The inspector said if it were going to more than two lights that would be used a lot, he would have made me change them. He said he’s not too worried about 2 lights in a storage space tho. Thanks for looking out for me tho!
For the outside receptacle, you cannot change the gauge of the wire to feed another part of the circuit without reducing the breaker size to match the smallest wire on the circuit. 15 amp breaker is still fine where I live but new code might be requiring it to be on a 20, which will require you to replace the 14 with 12.
I asked the inspector that and he said if it were going to more than two lights, he would change it but for all the more I’m using it, he said it’s fine. Thanks for looking out tho!
Great question! I’m going to to estimate that by the time this project is finished, I will have saved somewhere around $30,000 to $40,000 by doing a lot of this myself. This project has expanded and grew as construction progressed so not only am I saving money on the labor, I’ve also saved money on plan revisions too. Thanks for watching!
