You do great work but please stop with the scare mongering on body shops. Professional body shops with fully trained technicians will do flawless work, done correctly impossible to spot. Pdr on large damage like this door I'd bet my life I'd spot it, ordinary Joe public probably not. But let's respect each other's trade there's room for all without spreading bs. Yes there are bad bodyshops just as there are bad pdr tecs.
Sean fox .... I can appreciate your concern (if there really is any), but apparently you haven’t watched any of the other videos as they clearly state that I am not in any way trying to demonize body shops as we will always need their services. Let’s face it , even though a traditional body shop repair can look good in some cases, there’s no question that keeping a vehicle in its original factory condition is a much better option if the vehicle is a good candidate for the paintless process. I see tons of repairs being fixed the old fashioned way that clearly don’t need to be painted when I service these local body shops in my area.... even getting requests from bodyshop managers, painters, and body men to repair their own personal vehicles because they understand the benefits .... it really comes down to what’s right for the customer if they have done the research and want it repaired this way. Thank you for taking the time to watch and I hope we can be on the same page.
When you say “we repaired this door” I’m praying you aren’t referring to another person that is as good as you. Heck of a job. Always a pleasure to watch.
Brice, you are well deserving of the praise for the quality of your work, I would like to add to this my respect for your professional attitude in dealing with unjustified comments like this. As a car trader I regularly see repainted cars & whether it's 1 month, 1 year or 10 years later the repainted panel will always become apparent either through poor finish, rust, fading or lacquer peeling.
