My family had always have mulberry when i was a kid, now im trying to plant it on my yard, fortunately i got one free, i wish the best to you and god willing i will be succeseful planting mulberry (sorry for bad english)

It's my understanding that mulberries don't do well in pots because they have a large taproot. Eventually, in a pot, they will get stunted and not produce very many fruit at all. But if you're wanting to keep it smaller, you can plant it in the ground and then keep it trimmed and shaped the way you want it. I hope that information helps.

Good video. I kept my mulberry in a pot for a year and I propagated a small 6 in cutting and put it in the ground directly at the same time. My clone cutting is now bigger than my potted mulberry 😮

I'm in Chicago and I have a big tree in my yard. Never eaten them, but the squrilles and birds love em. Only problem they leave bird purple doodoo all on the cars and drive way.🤦🏾‍♀️

I wish I could grow those here it is too cold I have smaller hardier mulberries Illinois everbearing, Oscar , trader, 2 white mulberries and I’m getting a silk hope mulberry. You should try growing himlayan red or Australian mulberry white shahtoot is good to gets bigger fruit then Pakistan but is less hardy then Pakistan and slower growing but the fruit is bigger and better.

Just checking in a year later.. did these turn out to be the Pakistani? It’s looks much different then what I’ve seen before. Usually, the leaves are very firm and stick upward but maybe it’s because it’s so small..
