She's remembered for saying that Obama would lead America into a terrible darkness because he was firmly in the Islamist's camp. She has referred to liberal Jews as "Jews for genocide." Of course, she's also a climate change denier. I wouldn't expect much clarity from someone so consistently on the wrong side of nearly every issue.

Another point that MSM often ignores: Arab leaders say very different things in English and in Arabic. Abbas would never say that he recognizes Israel or its right to exist in Arabic, he would talk about destroying the Zionist occupiers. So the point that Abbas is lying when he says he recognizes the right of the state of Israel to exist is absolutely correct.
*Does* the state of Israel have a right to exist though? Why? Prior to the creation of the state of Israel (by people who didn't own it and therefore had no right to give the land away,ie, the British), Arabs, Jews and Christians all lived in that area. Why should one lot get kicked out of their homes to make way for a load of new people to come and settle there from other countries? Why couldn't they all have just carried on as they were? What warranted Jewish people in particular having their own ethno-state just for themselves and kick all the others out?

Exactly! In English, he says he wants a two-state solution which western media and international organisations like the UN uncritically take to mean a Palestinian state and a Jewish state. But in Arabic he makes clear he means one state consisting of Gaza and the West Bank that is Palestinian from its inception and a second state consisting of Israel that is majority Palestinian through rapid immigration (or ‘return’ as he puts it) so that it can be purged of its Jewish identity. There’s no room for a Jewish state in Abbas’s conception. It is very clear from his Arabic pronouncements that he is vehemently antisemitic.

The Kurd issue has never been solved either. The Kurds are the largest ethnic community without their own state. Turkey won’t allow it, and Turkey is (unfortunately) in NATO, so the West can’t bring any pressure on Turkey.

She complains about the west legitimising the Palestinian right to a free exidtence. I didn’t hear her mention that Israel’s ability to repress Palestinians is largely or entirely dependent on financial and military support from the ’west’. It’s hardly surprising a lot of Palestinians hate Israelis giving the repression inflicted on the Palestinians for decades. I don’t support hamas or any other terrorists nor do I support repression of minorities by Israelis. Nor do I support racism and oppression of minorities. Palestinians have an equal right to live in peace as do Israelis. The state of Israel was a creation on the UN. Perhaps Israel would do well to abide by the rest of the UN resolutions which it so blatantly ignores. Applying hatred and violence is never going to solve a problem of hatred and violence.

For those who have understood both the religious and it's political manifestations over all these decades this lady speaks with clarity. As we can all see, there are very few in the West who stand solidly with the Jews and none in the Islamic world, this was written. Prophecy plays a huge part in what is unfolding. It is central to all that is happening and none will yield until one or the other are all dead. I fear Israel has no friends or none they should fully trust. To me those that will betray Israel are those that are calling for a 2 state solution weather they be ignorant or wantingly fueling this furnace. The Prophecies of both Judaism and Islam foretells the path both are on and it is indeed being played out before our very eyes. Should the Prophecies be correct what lays ahead is far more frightening.
I think Melanie is spot on with her analysis. The one thing I think she failed to point out was that there are over 2,000,000 Arab Israeli’s, many of whom consider themselves Palestinians, who are comfortably and peacefully living as full citizens of the state of Israel. Most of them have accepted Israel’s existence and have no desire for its demise. So when she says “Palestinian’s” I think she should qualify that with “who are not Israeli citizens”, which would mean those in Gaza, the West Bank, and living in other lands. Amongst that group, I agree that the evidence clearly points to a common expectation that all the land called Palestine at the end of the Ottoman Empire become an Arab Islamic state that is cleansed of all Jews; i.e. that Israel cease to exists.
