ah yes the first Disney retcon to explain why the empire fell in just one year, poorly thought out and doesn't make sense with his plans to return in a clone body

I was about to type a long lengthy post on here, but realized your short sentence sums up everything I was about to say more succinct than I could accomplish. I must have had 5 paragraphs about how idiotic of a concept Operation Cinder is and how it basically contradicts pre-established character development of the Emperor.

@@Morgunth86 because he was already planning to return (he considered himself immortal and had contingency plans in the case of his sudden death). So why in the world would he purposely destroy the remaining imperial forces? It doesn’t make ANY sense.
