Sorry for the confusion. Cumin has a smokey flavor so that's why I said that BUT what you want to buy is cumin & smoked paprika;)

I've tried this recipe so many times. Tomorrow, my wife and I are having a craw fish and crab boil. But some people don't like bottom feeders. I'm using this for those people. Good stuff.

You're great! Someone should put Guy Ferri-what's-his-name out of his misery and insert you. Really. You're better than most people on TV teaching cooking. This recipe is phenomenal. Best way I've ever eaten tilapia. Hope you get your wish.

@SamFem Hmm...maybe it's the company that packages the fish....because when I get Tilapia, whether it's fresh or frozen, it comes out the same...I get the frozen Tilapia bags from Wal-Mart...but they taste DELICIOUS. =)

Would it be horrible to use frozen corn? I don't know about other places, but there is NO fresh corn in Wichita in the winter.

At the beginning when you list the ingredients you mention cumin and smoked paprika...but when you use the ingredients you say you add your smokey cumin and paprika...which is smoked so I know what to buy/use?

looks good. I may substitute onion powder for the actual onions, or...no onions at all. Looks like the indian corn would look good over some rice...hmmmm
