In order to make this radio whole again, the original IF transformer had to be used, otherwise, it would never get re-assembled. A suitable replacement, in both size, & functionally, is no where to be found. The painstaking challenge of repairing the original TOKO IF transformer, had to take place. The original IF can was disassembled, cleaned, & removal of the sealing wax surrounding the bobbin connections, followed by re-attachment of the broken coil lead was completed successfully. Lastly, a re-build of the earphone wiring, & adding back an original value 3pF disc, & a 4.7@16V electrolytic capacitor. Fitted back into the case, tested, & aligned.
