Hi Frederic, Nice video! I guess you have used manual focus all the time ? I have a situation with similar setup...i wonder if you have answer or can help GH6 + XL 0.64x speedbooster + sigma 18-35mm For photo, When I am at 18mm and take photo it is sharp. But when I zoom in all the way to 35mm its not sharp...even though camera shows green focused box... I tried rotating the back element of the speedbooster different directions as well but no able to get sharp focused image at 35mm... Really appreciate your help!

Hello! Sorry for the late response. Yes, I almost always focus myself, unless I use a gimbal in certain situations (like a long master shot for exemple with lots of changes in the same shot). I don't have the same issue with y speed booster. Mine is blurry in the left side of the image. So I often use a Viltrox instead and have no issues. But when I zoom in 35 , I don't have any problem like you. You should try another speed booster just to compare and see if it's a lens problem or adapter problem.

Everything in the video is great, the color seems to be especially cool, I'm curious, can you tell me in more detail what kind of VND filter you use?

I don't remember the brand, but it is a cheap one. You can definitely do better than mine 😂

I don't have autofocus with my system, because it's a Nikon to mft metabones. I shouldbhave purchased the canon version of the sigma 😞

Could you please check what is the max usable ISO on GH6 + Viltrox + sigma 18+35 but on natural picture profile?

Yeah. The max ISO is 12800 on standard profile. The gear and lens do not influence it.

Wow stunning video, I’m currently a college student learning cinematography and I’m super inspired after seeing your video. I do have one question, would it be possible if you could send me a link to the lens and the metabones you paired it up with, I’m having trouble finding the right one. I would greatly appreciate your help

Hey!! thanks a lot for your appreciation. the lens is the super famous Sigma Art 18-35mm f1.8 You just search for it in google or amazon and you will find it right away. You'll have to choose the lens mount for the lens. Nikon or Canon. And then buy the corresponding Metabones adapter (on their website or amazon). Canon to Micro four Third (MFT) or Nikon to MFT. If you want a cheaper version, you can buy the one from the Viltrox Brand.

@@Computercrisis the good thing with micro four third cameras is that you can adapt almost every lens on it. You just got to have the proper lens adapter. And the choice of lens depends on what you want to film with your camera. What do you want to do?

@@FredericTort Oh a lens adapter I see, I'll keep that in mind. Right now I have your standard 12-60 lens that I got alongside my camera. And that's what I've been using for some time now. For the future I mainly wanna film with an anthropomorphic lens that has more width like the lens you used in this video. My goal is to film cinematic travel videos on such a lens

@@Computercrisis i didn't film with an anamorphic lens on this video. I just cropped with black bars in the edit to give the sensation. The sigmabis not an anamorphic lens. The brand Sirui makes good and affordable anamorphics
