I have become a huge fan of this beautiful, amazing and powerful tennis player. Her game is so impressive.and a pleasure to watch. I'm now rooting for her to win this tournament and watching her compete every chance I get. Go Jasmine🎉👍🌹
Paolini had tennis within her as a great player, and no one noticed, not even her. Seeing her play at the net like that is incredible. Then, her terrific forehand. She even manages to make aces on serve despite being small. Then, the intensity of the game, the speed, the timing, and the defensive skills. She destroys the opponents. Ladies and gentlemen, we have discovered one of the strongest players in the world unexpectedly. Finally, there is that immense smile of hers that conquers because the fair tales are the fair tales.
We should stop talking about her size and being suprised when she wins. Were Justine Henin, Barty (among others) 6 feet tall? And as for her talent, believe me, many noticed she had talent, even at the beginning of her carreer. She was always unlucky with the draws (She played Kvitova in 2022 and 2023 first round at Wimbledon, losing in three sets both times) and that's what prevented her from winning matches at GS tournaments before.
Jasmine Paolini is playing some of her best tennis in her career right now. She’s playing fast, strong and dropping in some of the softest touches I have seen in a long time. She really has been coming on strong since her win in Dubai, now at Wimbledon in wins over Keys and Navarro. She has set herself up nicely to make a run at the Wimbledon title!
@@elmoblatch9787you can never tell if keys would have won seeing how things turned out. Keys being 5-1 up in the 2nd set and only winning that set in a tight tie break, then being 5-2 up again in the deciding set and losing the lead to end up at 5:5. She choked big time and should have served out the match at 5:2
@@cole7726oh please Keys is so one dimension and predictable Paloini could just run to where Keys is gonna hit before she even hits the ball, all she has to do at minium is get the rally to 3 shots or more and points are 70% chance of her winning.
I have followed tennis for the past few years, and i never expected Paolini to be a consistent top 10 player. This is actually amazing and I hope she continues this!!😊
Congrats Paolini!!! She is on Centre Court playing her game like a veteran so focused and unapologetically bold. She is playing like a champion who’s won it before.
Paolini's comprehensive victory was essentially a wonderful promotion for women's tennis. Relentless attacking style of play combined with great movement on court, accurate, penetrating groundstrokes, instinctive approaches to the net to finish points with robust volleying skills. Good luck to her next semi final opponent Vekic.
It's such a joy watching a match like this, modern women's tennis. Full of heavy (not just flat) baseline shots, acute angles, pace, variety, net play, dropshots, etc. Paolini and Navarro are fantastic! I look forward to many more of their matches.
Been watching Jasmine Paolini for the last 2 years. Her athleticism is off the charts. Shots are powerful. Speed. quickness & power. She keeps improving! Well Done
Saw JP live vs Kerber in Sydney this year. She started cramping in the third set and gave up a two game penalty to get treated going from break ahead to break down. Then she came out and finshed the match with a storm of fantastic winners. Been on the J train ever since!
Wow! I'm Polish and Iga's fan but.... jesus.....Paolini plays outstandingly great! She is everywhere. Don't know if it's only on this surface, but I think Iga's time end. Too many fresh players who can play at the net and strikes flat and strong.
DONT USE GODS Holy name as a swear word/expletive! HE IS HOLY...and holds the keys to heaven and hell, good luck getting into Heaven talking like that.
Surprised this was so one-sided. Have to give Paolini credit for continuing to have her best year ever on tour. She's plays like she has nothing to lose.
Going to the net and winning 17/18 net points won Paolini the match. It broke up Navarro’s rythym who wanted to win from the baseline. Go Paolini! Forza! ❤
Paolini looks so young, short, and small but she plays the angles really well, it's so fun to watch her play, like a firecracker. I wish her going as far as possible.
Jasmine’s Grace In the sun-kissed courts, she dances, A symphony of swift strokes and grace, Jasmine Paolini, fierce and relentless, Chasing dreams with every serve and ace. Her backhand whispers secrets to the wind, A two-handed melody, precise and true, As she paints the lines with vibrant hues, Defying limits, reaching for the sky’s blue. From Carrara’s marble to Wimbledon’s green, She weaves her story, a tapestry of fire, Italian pride in every drop of sweat,
I would say the #1 most improved is Ostapenko, she dropped a ton of weight and she's been playing lights out tennis I've the pass year! Paolini finally found her groove but I could tell after the French open she was going to be a force to be reckoned with!
The powerful ball striking on display here is utterly different from the slices and dinking and patsy ball we used to see from the likes of Evert and Navratilova. So much more impressive to watch the play today than then. Party racquet technology, but just wow. The game today's players play - in their heads - is miles beyond.
Yeah I was surprised by some of Emma's shot selections like hitting the ball to Paolini at the net while running off the court (instead of at least trying to lob). She was often caught wrong footed and just seemed to be lacking energy and fight.
Congrats to Paolini! She is hitting very well. The way Paolini is playing, she can even trouble Rybakina. Very accurate placement. Paolini's opponent must serve well to win against her.
I can predict Paolini will win 🏆 Wimbledon ! That is the game Coco should have played yesterday! Few long volleys and at the net precise dropping and precise hitting at the corners ! Paolini is all over the court with speed ! I guarantee she is taking the trophy 🏆! 💯
Paolini doesnt intimidate...She doesnt have the size, stature, or ranking nor does she barks non stop while playing. So players tend to take her lightly..and at this moment paolini transforms herself into a tigress..She simply attacks ferociously and dump them out of wimbledon...
It's impressive how Paolini always does the right thing in that right moment, even when she loses the point. Just a genius of tactics, despite the physical deficit. Amazing ! 👏 👏 👏
