@@RISK536 Dustin Brown on top.of that is likeable, humble man, kyrgios has no class saying that to Wawrinka in public, must had to be hard no to smash his face with the edge of the racket
Weakest era champion novak. If he had faced prime federer of year 2002 - 2007, novak would have been thrashed & retired long back . Novak has no variety in his game like federer does. Lucky he was born 7 years after federer , so had to face only aged federer ( past his prime), claydal & not even 1 good player of next generatio. The lucky weakest era champ will end up with around 30 -35 slams, but will never be considered as the greatest player of all times
@@mahalakshmid8613 that's a bad excuse, since Federer was beating everyone easily. Some pundits say 2017 was Federer one of the best years, and he wasn't young anymore
Such an entertaining video!! The only thing I could wish for is a few shots of Brown/Nadal from 2015... I swear, at least 10 points in that game could’ve made this video hahahah that set was legendary
Yes, Sampras is also amazing!! I’ll have to look more into Becker then :) As for Nadal v Brown... it really amazes me. It’s not so much in my opinion that he got lucky twice or happens to just be his kryptonite... imo Brown is reallllllly good, he’s just incredibly inconsistent (and obviously has other flaws, like questionable decision making on shots, not so great ground shots, and sometimes appears to just kinda give up/doesn’t have mental fortitude). When he’s on, though, he could easily be a #1 threat... it just never really happens haha. IMO if he was more consistently challenged to rise to the occasion of playing top players (and obviously being on grass twice was very helpful), then he would surprise a lot of people with some upsets.
And a few shots from fogini vs Nadal in the US Open when against every odd possible fogini somehow came back from 2 sets to 0 and a break in the 3rd set on the way to regulation loss when he switched into God mode and came back to beat Nadal 3-2 with some impossible shots from him in between
We've been blessed with some incredible shot-making during the 2010s...but which is the best? Or have we missed out your favourite? Let us know below ⬇️
Still: There should be a replay, but instead, we got Djokovic celebrating like the tool that he can be. Too much airtime for the Djoker and too little for his immense skill.
@@tanmayagnihotri2999 Actually when ur facing a championship point, hitting a shot like that is too scary. Murray hit the same shot against Federer before and it was out. Djoker has crazy mental fortitude to attempt such a shot against federer
Not necessarily because the Grass Courts are not really cool for most Tennis Players. We need more Hard Court Scenes for events to appear in Ghana Somewhat in the 2020s.
@@rickgeling3676 Because he's one of the weird Djokovic fanboys who desperately wants to believe someone's better than Federer for some unknown reason.
@@rnsw4572 because there was a lot more space to aim at and he was on his BH side. Nadal's style all thru his career is to play the percentage low risk shot until he gets it where he wants on his FH. Looking at his CV...I think it's served him well.
The last one should've been Novaks backhand winner at 5 3 in fifth set tiebreak in this years final match against Federer. Even the commentator said it was the shot of the decade
I think they might be referring to Djoko's backhand down the line in general rather than saying that this instance of it was the greatest single shot of the decade. That would be far too tall an order given all the ridiculous plays that have happened on the tour in the last 10 years.
Some shots show fighting spirit but are "lucky" while others exhibit masterful skill. Glad to see Dustin Brown in there. And Federer, well, he's really the James Bond of tennis, isn't he? A gentleman with raw power who makes everything look smooth and easy. And shots that kill. His style is unmatched, miss him.
6:50 is my favorite.. the way Rafa looks at the referee since he couldn't see the ball, and then laughing... the commentator not being able to hold his laughter for a while
Because, like it or not, it's an all-time great shot. I was rooting for Federer and I want him to win against Djokovic in a slam again, but what Djokovic did there was remarkable.
