I absolutely love the (original) Mazzy Star version of this song but Paolo Nutini has certainly done a beautiful rendition here. Hope he releases it to buy. 👏

7 years did nothing but improve his brilliance and the tone in his voice is smooth and soothing.

Paolo reminds me of songwriters/performers like Cat Stevens, James Taylor, Van Morrison and David Gates (“Goodbye Girl”) He has such sensitivity, and a beautiful soulful vocal style💖💖💖

A difficult song to cover in the haunting, desillusioned and nostalgic original interpretation. You can really see how Nutini tries to pay respects to the song and its legacy, he controls every sound he sings. A really good rendition, to which I come back sometimes. Maybe he'll play it in one of his concerts someday.
