Thanks, just what i needed. I'm using a soldering iron to singe the ends, this way you can "weld" the ends to the cord next to it.

Thanks so much! This kind of compact and yet attractive attachment is quite uncommon on RU-vid, and here you’ve demonstrated it so effectively! Exactly what I was looking for. Normally I’m trying to do very specific things which are apparently quite unconventional because I seldom find examples, and must improvise, which sometimes works out, but sometimes doesn’t. So thanks again! Also note that if you start the round braid by temporarily taping four strands together (as opposed to the conventional two strand doubling terminal fold), you could finish both ends identically with this ring attachment. That’s actually precisely what I need to do for my application, and it’s quite easily adapted from what is shown here!

Almost what I’m looking for. Answers my question except that I’m working with leather and can’t singe the ends like I do with paracord. Great video though.

do you have a knot for tieing off an eight paracord round braid on a ring?

Why wouldnt you splice it to finish?
