This is a good tutorial. My first watching was on mute, but when I got to the second wrap with the second working end, I got confused so I watched from the beginning with the commentary, and I realized that you were actually explaining yourself well and gave all the important details I'd missed. I've recently mastered the diamond knot, but I wanted more bulk and remembered seeing this or something like it. Thanks!

@gotcalves I can tell you that paracord is about 1/8 inch thick, but it acts more like a flat ribbon than a round rope, so that's only the general idea. My advice is to get some for yourself. One (more round than paracord) option I like is "type I paracord" or "tether cord," which is of similar kernmantle construction and I believe is also made of nylon. It's great for smaller projects, thinner wraps and lanyards, and fitting more length of cord in the same space, if that interests you. Knot on!

A small lanyard knot with a small loop would work great as a button extender for your jeans ;-) Can you tell I am excited for Thanksgiving? Lol. Love your channel!

Amsteel, a new fascination of mine, is about 3/4ths the size of paracord. (smallest size) and holds 1600 pounds!!! It is just like paracord only like 4 times stronger.

That's 550 pound paracord. The 550 part of it means that it can take up to 550 pound of pull on it, before this breaks. Hope this helps.
