I saw some issues today with blades that snap extremely uneven and wanted to share a quick way to fix the issue and still use any blade in your collection. I had tested around 5 other brands without the issue happening - but - since it happened I wanted to talk about it.

Easy fix - but man - It took me a second when one half loaded fine and the other didn't. 🤣🤣🤣 I thought I was losing my mind! Then it occurred to me - the Focus dynamic always had issues with bends maybe that was it...boom! Fixed haha Thank you for watching!

Glad that you are showing the workaround with the blades and how to fix them if any problem occurs. I ordered this razor yesterday mainly because of the price, but also to test and see if this is what I would consider a good beginner razor for a person who's never done shaving outside of a cartridge system apart from using a Rockwell 6C or something a bit more expensive like the Henson AL13. I started three years ago with the Supply Razor, but graduated to regular safety razors because of the vast blade selection of DE razors versus Injector razors. So yeah, I'm looking forward to using this and seeing the results. Thanks man! You're always awesome and a positive influence on the community! 😁

@haves-- Update. So far it shaves pretty well! I've used a Rapira Platinum Lux and a Gillette Platinum with it and both worked very well on me. I would say the razor is a "tad" aggressive for me, but it has been a great shaver with great results...so even with the bit of aggressiveness, it works out so far. The issue I'm still not crazy about is loading the blade, though. I wish this thing had a magnet / magnets like the Leaf Razor and High Proof Razor for easier loading, but that's just me. It isn't too much of a hassle, but I'm trying to think of new wet shavers coming in that want to get started, and I would almost push them to get a Leaf Twig / Thorn or maybe even a Henson over this despite the price difference. Still, it is pretty nice so far and easy to shave with once you can deal with the finagling of the blade (and cut the end tabs a bit if you break a DE blade in half), and I can't wait to put it up against the Shield SE Razor from what you've shown.

Really Nice Intro! Skills are on fire! That is a really nice looking label for sure. The scent sounds very nice as well. The Parker SE is getting a lot of buzz right now, I see it all over. Great review of this new razor and soap. Great video as always!

I keep a pair of scissors as well to cut DE blades in half. It's a small price to pay for using half bldes.

Very good Josh! It does sound like a great scent and hopefully I'll be getting the soap and splash along with a couple of other banger scents from HC&C. I'll have to send you a pick of the scooper I did for this soap because it really goes great with this label. It was on my mind how this razor would handle the curl from snapped blades and you were right on top of it. My Thorn and Stomper have no issues with any curl and maybe this wouldn't either with the blades I'm using. I'll have to pick this one up and maybe I'll use a Perssona 74 snapped in it and see how long I can go for with this one. Take care!

What's really odd is that it was just this brand that did it. I know when we used the Maxwell June razor that snapped blades Personna were notorious for having bad breaks and bends that caused loading errors - could be that. 100% could be a Subie-Anamoly - but I wanted it clearly and transparently discussed. That Green...is SPECIAL! All I can say is I am still without words and BEYOND thankful for your friendship and support!

I was initially excited when I heard about this razor .. but .. when there is a possibility having to do or figure out a work around when using a 3rd party blade (snapping a dubble edge blade) .. then ... I am not interested ... 😮😳

Intro picture is on point. Great photography skills. Great setup and shave! Looks like a great razor but honestly I am hesitant on dealing with half blades. Hey did or is Pete coming out with a new top shelf soap base?

On the corners to the left and right of the blade reveal, why would Parker not just take those down? just mold them out of the base plate. The Cap has the right clamp shape. Just make the base without those corners and just round the cap and base plate corners. It seems like that would be perfect… making the razor head more nimble and targeted. Thoughts? As far as blade alignment that you mention, surely they will correct that concern, but good catch.
