Parkhurst SIZING VIDEO!!!! 

I would most certainly agree with everything you have said in this video Dale! Especially on how to approach sizing a new brand. I did exactly what you said when I was getting sized up for my first Parkhurst boots. Im a 9E in Brannock. I was leaning on an 8.5 in Parkhurst but after telling him my Brannock, how my IRs fit, how my AEs in the 1757 Last fit and how a few other boots fit and he strongly recommended I go with 9 in the Parkhurst boots. IRs: They are 8.5D and they are VERY TIGHT across my instep and quarter but probably a half size too long. 8E would be better. AE 1757: They are 9D and they fit almost the same as my IRs. They are super tight on my instep, just behind the ball of my foot but i have a bitt too much length and width in the toe box. Parkhurst: They are size 9 and they are probably the best fitting boot for my foot outside of a made to measure shoe. I agree the boots are fairly generous in the quarter/instep, especially compared to Iron Rangers and the AE 1757 last. They are also much more snug in the toe box as I can just feel the sides of the boot with my small toe and I cannot do that in my AEs. The heel, to me, fits tighter than the IR but a bit looser than my AE. Overall, I would say, if you are comparing to a standard D width, the Parkhurst boot is fairly generous in all areas but the toe box and fits more like an E than a D brannock. Just as the Parkhurst site states. Just a question. You may have addressed in your initial Color 8 Delaware video. But how does the new build fit compared to the old Parkhurst build?

Another great video! I was thinking of trying Parkhurst but I prefer a fuller last and rounder toe like GS. Your video showed very clearly the differences in the boots , it has really helped me to decide. I hope Parkhurst comes out with some different lasts in the future.

You certainly have geeked out on these boots, but it was helpful. Now that Parkhurst boots are back in stock, I put one in the cart and has been trying to figure out if sizing down by one half was right. Then I saw your video. I thought I should order the same size as my Grant Stone, and you confirmed it. Thank you.

Great video Dale. One of the biggest struggles with buying boots online is figuring out proper fit. These types of videos help prevent disappointments, returns and wasted $ 🙂👍

Great video, very informative. I wear an 11.5 in Viberg service boots, and an 11.5 in Alden 403’s. I wear a 12 in Redwing, and most other boots. I ordered all 3 pairs of my Parkhurst boots in a size 12. They fit great and are some of the most comfortable boots out of what I own. I can wear them all day with no complaints, and that was right out of the box. I love what Andrew is doing with Parkhurst, and can’t wait to get more. Thanks for the video, keep em coming.

You sir are doing a favour to the entire boot community with this video. I wasn't really interested in pankhurst so it took me a while to watch this video but you could use this information to size in a huge number of brands and lasts. The name for your video mislead me a little bit and I was expecting a comparison between parkhurst lasts sizing. Thank you for making this PSA.

Dale, Very useful to see the shapes, in addition to the size, of the lasts. The last shape is critical to the style and fit as well. I am trying to slow down my boot buying though! Parkhurst and Grant Stone are very appealing to me personally. Great channel btw!

I wear 11D in most of my Allen Edmonds footwear. The 65 last is more snug than others. I bought size 11 Parkhurst Delaware boots in dark chocolate kudu, and they fit perfect, with a little extra room for thicker socks when desired.

Just got a pair of the color 8 dublin Delaware boots and have been super impressed. They fit me about the same as my Redwing and Allen Edmonds

Very helpful. I am 9.5M Brannock and just got Alden 403s in 9D. The length is perfect and the width is fine IF I wear thin socks! Don't know whether my foot is at the upper end of D or what. To wear medium weight socks, which had been my plan, I'd need 9E or possibly 9.5D, according to my hunch and several Alden sellers I emailed. I'm interested in the Parkhurst Niagra and will ask what they think based on my Indy experience!

Hey, Dale, this is an awesome sizing comarison! You say that the Parkhust is a little more generous in the quarter area than the same size Grantstone (D width Leo last)... This is actually the area which I would like to be a little more snug with my 10.5 Parkhurst, it looks like Grantstone 10.5D should be a great fit for me!

Somehow the Parkhurst Allen in 12 fits way larger on me than the Diesel in a 12E. The Leo 12E fits, but it’s snug and the left boot is slightly too short for my heel to ball. In the Parkhurst 12 I have room to spare in all directions.

Hey man thanks for all the super informative videos! Really helpful especially those of us outside the US as we don't get to see much of these cool brands in person. If you were just guessing, would you say that if I wear a 10.5E on the Trubalance (good fit, can wear boot socks), would an 11 in Parkhurst be doable or likely not? Love your collection by the way

Any chance you have a scale and can provide the weight of a Parkhurst boot compared to viberg. Or, is one noticably lighter? I have vibergs but they are just a tad too heavy for my liking. Thanks.

Hey Dale this is the 3rd time watching the video! Very helpful. I am a 9.5 medium to wide medium arch, narrow heels; my question (and I am probably not alone) is which boots would have narrow heels? I know you said Grant Stone hugs your heels and I find that true, my GS kudu chukkas feel grewt altho my heels are narrow they don’t slip which I am happy about. GS told me the fit will even improve as the leather ‘breaks in.’ Thanks!

How did your Grant Stone 8.5D fit when new vs when broken in compared to your Parkhurst? I just got the GS Storm Diesel in 9.5D (the same size as my Thursday captain which fit well, if slightly snug). I also just got the Parkhurst Camel Kudu in 9.5D. The Parkhurst fit perfectly but my left foot in the Grant Stone Diesel has noticeable heel slip and feels roomier throughout. This is all with thick boot socks (Darn Tough Tactical Extra Cushion) which I wear with all my boots. I'm wondering if I should try sizing down in the Grant Stone to a 9D or if the heel slip will stop once they're worn in. By my pinky toe feels well sized in the Grant Stone but because I need to tighten them so much due to the heel slip the front ankle and instep feels very tight. Just wondering if your GS 8.5D fit looser originally and how they wore in.

I have the following sizing: Brannock 9.5 E Grant Stone 9E - fits well with thin socks - slight pressure on top of feet until worn in 8.5 EEE - Fits well with medium socks - no pressure on top of feet, now favourite size after your sizing video Truman 9EE - fits well with medium walking socks Park Hurst 9.5 - feels similar to Grant Stone without the pressure at the top of the foot - good fit width wise RM Williams Craftsman 8.5H (UK) - good fit with thin socks Thursday Boots 9 - good fit with thin socks 9EE - good fit with thick socks

Why not just return them if they don't fit? Don't exchange them, buy another brand. Then, they will make them true to size. Seems ridiculous to create so much work for your customers.
