Today i show how the Parkit 360 helps put away our trailer in a tight shared driveway (cars on one side house and porch on the other)
on a narrow street. This has been a life saver for us and alot less stress! i got the Base 5k model as our trailer is under 5k lbs.
i added my own SLA 12v battery and tray. already have a 12v battery charger. if you do not have these you can get the full kit from parkit also.
this allows us to turn the trailer on a dime and thread a very narrow path when the driveway is full and people parked on the street too sometimes which is already narrow too.

Once you parked, you forgot to chock your wheels. But,I must say I'm really impressed with that dollies. I'm going to check in to getting one. Sure would save me lots of frustrating moments.

GREAT CATCH!! the chocks were done off camera and i did forget to add that step which is very very crucial! thank you. as for the dollie. it does save ALOT of stress and anxiety . this day the driveway was empty as was the street which never seems to be the case though when we return from trips lol thanks for watching and the feedback!

What distance do you have (nor need) between the trailer dolly tires and the trailer jack? Wondering if tight turns might allow the dolly tires to run into the trailer jack?

I just ordered one for my boat to help me get it in the garage. One question I have, by letting off the forward/reverse switch does that activate the brakes? Or, is there an actual brake switch? Thanks for the video, very helpful and helped me make my decision to purchase.

depending on which model you ordered will depend on the braking ability and how it functions. for mine it does not have the brake controller option so it only has the drag brake when you let off the switch. it does not activate the trailer brakes at the same time like the higher optioned units. on a boat trailer id assume you have mechanical surge brakes so the machine will only have the drag brake work like mine does thanks for watching!

How does it handle with inclines? Is there enough power to go up shallow driveways or ramps?

Thank you! Yes as long as your trailer has a battery. It comes with a short harness and a long harness depending on how you want to use it.

Did you find it difficult to turn on concrete? Because there's no differential on the axle but instead it's a solid shaft and the wheels are not independent. I noticed in your video when you were turning it you were actually pulling kind of hard did you find it difficult as well?

it can be at times when NOT moving as i need to turn it 90* quickly but its not terrible by any means

Great review. I wonder how well this would do on uneven surfaces in dirt and on gravel? Any thoughts?

for dirt/grave/grass they have an option for bigger turf tires that would help on those surfaces. im lucky enough to have flat pavement

as long as you dont have a hill with incline yes, but would recommend there turf tires( widder ones, and think those are the standard tires now from what there site is showing))

How well does that work on a 24 foot enclosed tanam axle trailer? I noticed all your trailers are single axle.

it will just turn a tad slower id imagine as a dual axle will scrub on any super tight turns (90*)

It was a recurve R3 600lb bars I’ve since upgraded to a husky centerline. Noisier but 4 points of sway vs 1

I noticed all your trailers are single axle. I have a 24 foot enclosed tanam axle how well wouldn’t move the tanam axle around.

This is my scenario. I tried the crank Trailer Vallet XL on my (10k) on my 5k trailer and it was find for flat ground but it would not go up my driveway. wheels would just slip.

according to parkit 360 it can go upto a 6% grade. here is a quote from them "With all of our dollies, we recommend no more than a 6% grade, with a minimum of 10% of your trailers gross weight on the tongue." thanks for watching!

Isn't it just easier to insert the trailer jack stand into the hole instead of attaching the tow ball?

great question. yes you absolutely can do it that way its just harder to get the nubs lined up correctly and tighten it down is alot easier with it out of the dolly as it needs to be perfectly straight up and down. also the instructions state to do it out of the dolly also. they do have another attachment now with extra wheels so you dont need to tighten anything just like its on a vehicle even easier but another 400-500 bucks thanks for watching!

3850 dry and probably close to 4500 with all gear, propane, battery, ect. thanks for watching!

its looks alot easier in video as the neighbors car were not in place and how narrow the street really is. every campsite i have gone to i have been able to nail in one or 2 tries max. but thanks for watching
