It's always to pleasurable to watch you both doing these smooth moves and I'm always like, I want to do that too, but I live near a forest and no real urbane village like place. I'm curious about how I am at it now, as I trained alone for a couple of years at some walls nearby my house, back when I lived in a city. It's great to see parkour pros almost flawlessly recreating those moves in mirrors edge catalyst. I had a great time with this game and replayed it three times. And I still don't seem to lose interest in it. Great video!

I'm pretty certain you guys got speedvalt and dashvalt mixed up not the experts but whoever edited it mixed it up like 10:30 They're obviously describing a dashvalt but the top says speed valt same with 9:35 They're talking about the speed valt now but they're showing the dashvalt so they mixed up the scenes
Yup, when Faith did a two handed vault with her feet kicked out in front they showed the experts explain and recreate a one handed side vault but when Faith does a one handed side vault they show the experts explain and recreate a two handed front vault.
Haha yup! That definitely got mixed up in the edit. But I can understand because if you're not totally familiar with the moves as an editor it might be a little confusing since there is so much footage to go through.
I love this and I love that you included the side by side comparison in game-play and actual parkour. I think I remember before Catalyst came out, DICE put out some development videos and one of them shows how they model the parkour from real parkourists as part of the research for Catalyst. It was so cool.

You and Sara are fan favourites - with very honest (and entertaining) reactions and recreations. Also your insight and explanations are easy enough to follow. @@SSaNNEE100 Glitchless in my opinion would be kinda boring because it would be too similar to a normal playthrough. And seems like others think the same as there is no glitchless category. I run NG+ which is doing all main missions with all upgrades already unlocked.
its one thing to play a game press a button and fly through the air but watching someone actually like soar through the air like Mr Zaki did was really something
I started learning in Gymnastic gyms when I was young doing Parkour there! Maybe there is a gymnastics gym near you that you could try out and see if it helps/is fun!
@@mr.jamster8414 both games are great and can exist at the same time without a need to shit on them. Loved original and love Catalyst. Glad that we have at least two Mirror's Edge games if there wont be 3rd one ever.

id never thought, how learnable these vertical wallruns are i was in a pottfiction camp in the parcour course and almost all of us reached at the end around 3m sth that was so cool xD
I started learning Parkour at a gymnastics gym so maybe it's possible that there is a gymnastics gym near you if you wanted to try to learn there! Since they should have trampolines and mats and foam pits and stuff for safe learning. Best of luck!!

10:48 Is it just me, or did the editors switch the in-game clips of the speed and dash vault? And the sub-section titling to match. Cause I'm _pretty sure_ they did.
I would totally be down for another game. But they were barely convinced the first time stating that a lot of people are asking for a sequel but were concerned that sales figures would show otherwise. Sadly they were right.
Thing about this is that the pipe she jumps to in Mirror's Edge is much thicker. At that velocity, you couldn't have the grip strength to be able to stop yourself from falling straight down. The pipe they grab here is more like a monkeybar
lore wise, faith is the best of the bests. and the group she work with is basically fulltime runners on SKYSCRAPERS. falling= death. It is unrealistic sometime, but she is suppose to do the impossible which make her a PROTAGNIST.
PLEASE REACT TO THE "Free Running" GAME!! (My Favourite Old Parkour Game) There are a lot to analyse in that game, including all the Parkour Moves and Spots used in Challenges!

@@brziperiod Haha that's awesome! The main games I played when I was younger was Halo 3, Super Smash Bros, Hydro Thunder and Battle for Middle Earth II. I miss playing video games a lot!
