Got that same pump some years back works great! Easier to fill with that Park plastic tube. I use EPX Grease, from the 16oz tub more difficult to fill, but works great to grease in small tiny spots or difficult to reach spots.

There's a screw at the nozzle side, probably to adjust the amount of grease coming out.

Was there a lot of grease underneath the barrel that rolled out after you pushed the grease up?
