I've been trying to find this on and off for over a decade. I remember watching this when I was 17-18. Still to me the best basketball documentary ever. Before cell phones,social media bs. Raw and real! So much talent on that team. Is part 2 available? I'd like to see the whole doc. Respect!
Fresno born and raised here. I remember the buzz around this team leading up to the season. If you go to the Elbow Room or Silver Dollar at that time it was always being talked about. Bulldog fans are loyal and even through the bad times showed a lot of love!
Bulldogs fan were definitely the best and loyal!! Stuck with us through all the turmoil on and off the court. I always will have love for them and the city! I wish things would have panned out there because we had all the talent and pieces to have made a deep run in the ncaa tourney. That final four nit should have been a ncaa final four. i love will farley pause i got to play with him and learn from him when he retired and came back to san diego and hooped at san diego state back in 2003-2005. im from ny so i got to watch skip alot especially in the summer time
Wasnt john calipari kentucky coach now, coaching UMASS in 96? So i know he wasnt coaching 97-98 but the shark & his team did destroy his recruits 86-64 very very impressive especially 2nd game of the season! Very underrated Coach of all time!
@@Trefeezy I was there me and my dad were at the game in selland arena I have great memories there I was 8 years old then Fresno state mens basketball team and women's basketball team still played at save mart center at Fresno state . I will never forget selland arena when coach Jerry tarkanian his son Danny tarkanian . I will have great memories forever about Fresno state mens basketball team in selland arena . @@jamiecain8120 That’s great to hear! Yes Selland was electrifying and I wish they could’ve made the Save-Mart Center that same style but more of an updated look. SMC is way too big but you never know they might be able to fill it up one day lol..Great memories. Go BULLDOGS!!!💪🏿💯
And they still came 2nd in the WAC. Great talent but too many personal problems also was in the same conference as the Utah team that made it to the championship game.
