I have been waiting for this, absolutely amazing talent. You make it look so easy making this miniatures but i am sure requires a lot of patience too.👍
The problem here is that you have to cook the polymer clay at 130° C to harden it, for half hour. Doing so you burn the PLA skeleton inside, so you can't cook your sculpture in steps, also it could collapse on weak spots (legs, arms), or it could produce gas inside and it could swell or explode. For polymer clay you better use aluminum or iron wire and aluminum foils.
I love the work you do and I hope like hell you've not used a 3D pen filament as the "bone" structure like you said in the beginning because polymer clay (sculpey) is OVEN baked to "set" the clay, which means your plastic "bone" is going to melt and the sculpture you've done with the clay on top is going to collapse whilst it bakes. You need to use aluminium (aluminum) foil and metal wire (armature wire) as a "bone" structure when using polymer clay as it will stay in place when you oven bake the clay to set the sculpture in place. The 'air hardening' clay (or curing clay) is epoxy clay - that cures, depending on brand, in 3-8 hours and is _not_ oven bake. I'm not sure if maybe you've just confused the two? I realise I'm 2 months late with this advice so I'm not sure you'll see this...
