She was the reason for her children dying. She had to punish Tyrion for being alive, so Obrion was killed, which led to Marcella's death. She drove her youngest to suicide. As for her oldest... She told him he could do and have anything he wanted while never punishing him for anything. She spoiled him rotten and made him into a monster that even she couldn't control. Jeffrey's death was the happiest this show ever made me.

I think up until a point, Tyrion loved Joffrey as well. You can tell by how he tries so desperately to get through to him in a way that isn’t 100% political. You can almost imagine Tyrion likely spent time with a younger Joffrey, reading to him and telling him bedtime stories. It’s very sad Joff turned out how he did.
It really was. And the agony of all of this, was that he was just a fucking child, who’s mother was a slut. I hate how Jeff doesn’t even try to understand people, but acts like he has everything on his hands. Joffrey was born a psycho when he was little he cut open the cat alive to pull the babies out to show his dad who beat the shit out of him and hated him after and he couldn't understand why it wasn't okay
Tyrion at the beginning of the series is seen educating Joffrey, and it could be said that while he was Hand of the King he tried, but Cersei was so stupid that she took it upon herself to send Tyrion's good intentions to hell
Ive always appreciated how she doesnt argue with him when he says "i loved them, you know i did" its such an undeniable fact that even cersei coulsnt deny it
I think Tyrion loved Joffrey at the start. He was the only one willing to raise him. Strong handed as it was but Joffrey proved to be more of a #%@$ than Tyrion thought. But he still didn’t do anything against him while he was king.
@@AshenAlpha No it doesn't make any sense at all in the context of their relationship. The quality of the writing in the later seasons was horrific and none of the characters' actions made any sense at all. The entire Tyrion, Dany and Jon going to King's Landing was ridiculous. And Cersei being pregnant was like a soap opera.
@@antiochus87 I think it makes sense that Tyrion would want to salvage his family bc he did love them all to some degree, but I agree with you that it doesn’t make sense how he went about it. After cersei didn’t send help to the north, that should have been his last fucking straw. I love my sister dearly and she obviously did not do half the shit to me that cersei did to tyrion, but if she couldn’t put her petty pride aside for the sake of literal humanity, potentially condemning everyone to die a horrid death, there would be nothing left between us. I feel like it would have been better if Tyrion freed Jaime because Jaime promised to kill Cersei and end it before Dany burned everything to ash. @@ayannabranchcomb7535 I agree mostly, but it's clearly established that from birth (when Tyrion talks to Oberon Martell) that Cersei has hated him and made every effort to make him suffer. I'd say the last straw would have been his trial for the murder of Joffrey, and if he was under any doubt, the mass murder of everyone at the Sept (including multiple members of the Lannister house). It's unbelievable that Tyrion would have anymore last straws remaining by this point. The most merciful way to defeat the would be to win the war as quick and decisively as possible and then request Dany send them into exile or allow them to live out their days under house arrest.
Peter Dinklage has the insane ability to make me cry with his acting. Tyrion is a very complex character, intelligent, sad, witty, tragic, kind, vindictive... it takes a extraordinary talent to portrait such a special person.
The emotions we all felt as Joffrey choked to death. Kudos to Jack Gleeson . He was born to play that character. Probably him and Tyrion made that series
The envious tone in her voice and the little lip sneer as she said "her" regarding bending the knee to Queen Daenerys. Its like she's thinking "What's so great about her?" "Why do you think she's better than me or more worthy?"
Tyrion was one of the biggest reasons she went mad. He gave her really bad advice, because deep down he wanted to save his family. Lady Olenna told her to bring her full force down on Cersei while she still had all her dragons and had she did that. Things would have turned out differently.

Tyrion was doing his father's work here in preserving the family as much as possible, and Cersei still refuses to acknowledge it beyond her contempt for the non-Jaimes of her family.
"I will not" "I don't care!" I love how Tyrion shoots down any attempts by Cersei of trying to gatekeep love for her children and guilt-tripping Tyrion in any way. Tommen and Myrcella and even Joffrey had much more caring and competent guardians around them than Cersei. Her children were casualties of her hatred and no one else's.

He loved his family more than anything. Wine, women, gold, were secondary, everything he did he did for his family. And they betrayed him. He loved Tommen and Marcella. He even loved Joffrey though he hated the monster he was. Which is why he would smack him. And as strained as their relationship was, he loved his father and wanted nothing but that love to be reciprocated.
She blamed everybody for what happened to her children but herself. She was the reason Joffery and Marcella were killed and she was the reason Tommen killed himself.

I don’t know but I believe Dani would have been a great queen if she had been allowed to have one person to love worth caring for. She’d lost so much. It was too much that Cersei killed her friend in such a savage way. Jorah was gone. The people she needed beside her weren’t there. She lost two of her baby dragons. Cersei became such an inconsistent character. She was cemented as ruthless and nothing to lose, so she'd do anything to her enemies to stay in power. She did that with blowing up the Sept of Balor with wildfire and she smiled as she did, and yet she had multiple opportunities to do so again with Daenerys as they stood infornt of king's landing (on this awful barren set), where instead of mowing them with scorpions she allowed them to live and only kill Missandei?? (Who was of no consequence other than piss off Daenerys) She turns on Jamie when he wants to help the other side but lets him go (mby understandable), she has this weird meeting with Tyrion who she hated and blamed for the loss of her father and kids, and she even says she cares nothing about him and lets him go, and not because she wants to make a deal either. She lets him go and hates his guts when this was her opportunity for vengeance on him, as if releasing him shows any good will, since she doesn't accept any deals with Daenerys anyway and knows there will be war as a consequence. Nothing she does later on makes any sense, regarding her desperation to stay in power. Especially considering vengeance is such a powerful driver (destroying the sept, torturing and killing the sandsnakes, torturing the Nun lady - she hated Tyrion more than any of them) It makes me think they only allowed her to stay in character for when her vengeance was targeted at insignificant characters with no plot armor. 😮💨😮💨😮💨

Bro they are all dead cause of her Joffrey was killed cause he was straight up awful not ready to be king which happened cause she had Robert killed and Ned arrested then she blamed Tyrion for killing her son and didn’t listen to anyone when they told her it wasn’t him causing her daughter to die indirectly due to Oberon’s death and lastly tommy killed himself cause she blew up a bunch of people including marg when it all could’ve been avoided by not giving the crazy god guy an army she’s quite literally the dumbest smart character in existence none of her plans work in the long term
