More work on the convertible. Gutting everything on the floor of the interior to get out the carpet and check for any water damage. Powerwashed the carpet and dealt with some other things.

All the problems that you mentioned besides water damage are very common issues with Sn95 Mustangs.

Bro, I paid $150 for my carpet. I have a 95 Ford Mustang convertible. That spring you found that was loose, you just have to hook it back into the inner panel. Sure you know my now tons of videos online for that. You probably need to fill the motor up with hydraulic fluid to get the top moving faster. I got to replace the convertible struts because they were shot. Refilled the hydraulic motor and now the top works great.

New carpet on a flood vehicle sounds like a proper investment to me. You can get one on Amazon for $200 - and you can get a different color, like black... or Purple Neon! Alternatively, maybe you can get some spray-on-carpet. Kind of like the spray for bald spots. I'm jealous of your floor mats. I couldn't find Pony mats for my car. You might want to put your voltmeter to the convertible top motor. Flood damage and such. The fault code is your backup battery is bad (affects abs and the air bag). I suggest a cheap tripod from Amazon. I got a fun one that is very tall and doubles as a selfie stick for 20 bucks.

Good call on a lot of that. I got the convertible top to actually work. I'll check out that battery backup thing. Carpet may be something I do later. I hate doing that as I've done it before. Cutting holes, trimming ends, underlayment sold separately. Ugh. But as you said...probably worth it.

I know you would have thought of this but since the back seat is out did you check the fluid in the reservoir of your convertible top pump? Should be a plug on the side, might be the issue, I think those are tensioner cables not sure what they do

I did not, but turns out the convertible top actually does go up and down...a little funky probably because of the loose cables
