I bumped into your channel while surfing the web. I have had the Valdada Recon G2 for about two years now and it is amazing! It has always returned to zero and has never failed me. I shoot a Ruger Precision Rifle in 338LM that the G2 sits on top of. I can easily dial out to 2,200 yards before I have to use my reticle. Great video, thanks!
quick story... I took the Vadada to the match and had all my other scope there.. Set 4 guns on the bench with (Tract, 2 Athlons --- Cronos BRT, Aries ETR and the Valdada.) against a Zero Comp.. Sold 2 Valdadas and 2 Cronos BTRs... It is so cool to see how and why people pick scopes for whatever reason.. Thanks for watching bud, Have a good one. hope all is well.
I have the Tract Toric and I personally have tested the turrets and tracking. And no matter how much you dial completely up and down left and right and it does in fact return to zero every time. That’s one of the reasons I bought it. The tracking is dead on.

I haven't heard one bad thing about the athlon cronus. Can't wait to get mine ordered up. Thanks for the videos. The choice between tract and the cronus has been a tough choice
The Cronos is one of the best mid-range scopes on the market. I am running 2 myself. They are clear and the turrets are very loud. I like the lower profile turrets for PRS. Overall the scope is a tank and I can not wait to get more time behind it. Thanks for watching.
From what Val has told me is that the Japanese lens is on the objective only. All the other glass is the very best Florite crystal glass by Schott grown in a laboratory.
I've always heard that Valdada has excellent scopes and great glass, but the "downfall" I keep hearing about (like Leupold) they have a somewhat bad reputation for reliability and customer service which makes me stay away from them. I see alot of Athlon's at my local range and they are really a great bang for your buck
Val at Valdada is one of the best guys I have ever done business with.. I have not had to send back anything yet. I do know he carries plenty of inventory on hand.. So I hope if I need to return something that is goes off without a hitch. (Yet to be seen..) We have sold ALOT of Athlons and they are a bullet proof company. @@kenmarsh We just recently purchased the Anvil.. Its a beast!!! Very stable for shooting XLR or F-class.. We have 2 chassis on order as well.. Have a good one..
@@pantherhollow5290 The Anvil from Valdada shrunk my groups from .75 moa to .375 moa. It really stabilizes the firearm and keeps you on target to see bullet splash and for follow-up shots.
no.. we have a lot of guys that run ZCO. The Valdada has more options for a lower price and better glass.. I have used a ZCO side by side with the Recon Gen2. The Valdada is a better scope in design and internally. I am not bashing ZCO, they have a great product its just over price for what you get. Thanks for watching.
yes I have ran ALL three scopes.. The only test that was not done was a FULL box test.. we are running matches now and I do not have extra scopes to test as of now. But rest assured the FULL box test will get done.. Did you watch part1 and part 2?
I know... right... We have a few guys (ZCO Owners) at our range scratching their heads as well. Hard to compare unless they are side by side. Thanks for watching..
@@irwig05 I was thinking seriously about getting a Valdada at one point but lots of guys at Sniper's Hide call them a POS and say they're not dependable in the long run, plus customer service is deplorable. A couple guys sent theirs in for repair and were still waiting to get them back 2 years later! WTH! Frank won't even discuss them anymore at the Hide. The animosity for IOR runs deep at the Hide. Sure, even ZCO has a few problems but expect your scope returned to you in less than a week if you do.👍🏼
