Laura Laster The interpolation was a good refresher, also 1.69ft/sec was new and some of the V speeds were a bit confusing so I have to watch that again. Reading the notes was a good reminder and overall the videos were helpful.

I am not sure what you are asking. Can you clarify the question?

I think there's actually an error in the question 8700, where it says cargo zone 6 weight 60 x arm 344 .. the calculation they did for the answer is not correct.. can you check it? thank you for posting this video by the way, it helped me a lot so far.

Hello! I reviewed the video and found at time 14:51, you can see the cargo zone chart showing the weight of 60 corresponding to the moment given as 20.6 for cargo zone 6. At 15:15 in the video, 20.6 is listed for the airplane moment after doing the calculations. This was on question 8699. I did find that all the moments add up to 1744.5 at 17:20 so that is slightly off (video shows 1744.4). My apologies for the error, but thankfully it does not affect the CG calculation in this case. Is this what you had noticed?

I noticed that for question 8700 they used the arm of zone 5 for the zone 6 calulations... why is that ? zone 6 is 344 arm as you can see in the chart.
@nandomercy1

well.. with 1744.5 moment the CG is 200.4 .. but the "good" answer in the ATP exam shows 200.2 CG (1744.4 momment)

I have a university degree in economic. i have no knowledge or experience in aviation. can I become a ATC or flight dispatcher?
@LauraLaster747
@LauraLaster747 7 лет назад
Yes, you can! Look into attending Sheffield School or IFOD or Jeppesen Academy for schools that will teach you to become a dispatcher in about a 5 or 6 week course.

how good do you need to be in math to pass the training and get the FAA Cert.
@LauraLaster747
@LauraLaster747 4 года назад
Hi JC, you need to be able to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) in order to pass the FAA's Aircraft Dispatcher knowledge exam. I highly recommend using a study software such as Sheppard Air for the Aircraft Dispatcher or ATP knowledge exam.
