Tyson Klose yes sir my Nitro Brother Tyson!!!! I hope all is well with you and your family bro! I remember you and your dad going to races together! Have you herd of anything from the Forum? I have many Newbies that can go to it and bring some life to it? I guess no one cares about it like I do because no one has responded to my latest posts yet! Anyways good to hear from you bro !
Yeah for sure, when I got my first nitro when I was 14 now I'm 33, there wasn't any you tube videos to help me gain a much better understanding of how to properly tune a nitro engine, after many hours of headache and blisters on my finger from pull start lol here i am many years later with a complete understanding of nitro carburetors I'm thankful now
I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
Thinking of getting this Losi eight as my first car. This guy definitely knows what he’s doin, watch all his videos. Thanks for sharing BotaJell. Just south of the border from yah here in PA.😂👍
I've had this buggy for over a year now and just now getting around to breaking it in for my backyard track. Hopefully the .21 engine is broken in the same way. Thanks for the video🤛
Dude you're the man everything I did I had no problems this car is sick! You're damn right about everything not that I had any doubts I just hadn't done it so thank you
Rc Fun thank you! Yes not to bad for a RTR Dynamite! It also has a back plate and a closer exhaust and that combo will give us some more RPMs out of this motor and I also like the LRP Glow Plugs
I’m getting my TLR bump box , new mount for the engine and backplate in a few days. An do you have to get a backplate for a modded 28-8 when you get it from Neil or does it come with it
I know this is an old video, but am looking into getting this RTR setup. I have a cheaper RTR buggy I got awhile back but never really dove too deep into it. Just wanted to ask for the tuning, you want a slight smoke trail correct? Being sure the engine is getting lubricated.
We need to talk ! I got lots of goodies for it also and I think that would be a good build series for you on your channel as well besides a good NITRO RC for your boy! We have to speak over phone. E mail me if you got it? Or if you not serious? No worries I don’t have to sell it I just can’t see your kid with an E word is all. My 3 daughters ran Nitro MTs then I got them a E word Summit and they cried 😭 about that and wanted nitro. My girls are bigger now and very busy with ice skating and other sports so no time to run there new Truggy . My daughters used to run LST, savage , and mgt . Then I got the oldest one the losi RTR Truggy and threw a back plate on it .i almost didn’t do that and was going to install a Novarossi 28-8 REX in it that I have but never got to do it
Hello and thanks that i,m part of the famely i bought a lamberto collari 32 engine for my hpi xl i want to know what you think of that engine or shell i install new lrp z28r greetings from holland
Sounds great! Could you please guide me as to how many turns about you are on the low and high speed needles from closed? Please and thanks! Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks but I don’t go by turns . If you take your time and watch this series of videos you will catch on to how I tuned mine to where I live and that time! Where you live and where I live there is different weather/temps/humidity going on so the time that worked for my taste and ears will be very different by you. If I was by you I would tune the same way as I did on this series of videos and i will set the carb idle gap the same way then the low and high will be set for your weather
Hizzle Man41 same as the Truggy .28 but don’t waste your money on that engine and buy a .21 Novarossi BONITO engine or a Paloma gold head But Bonito or a Mito 7 is way better and you will be much much happier trust me! Just run the crap out of that RTR .21 Dynamite or sell it off in new condition and get a real nitro that can run hard headaches free
Yeah man I was wondering if you knew what might be wrong just replaced my bump box wheel. After getting the truggy started and tuning it a couple times it sounds like he doesn’t want to spend nowhere anymore and the fly wheel just spins smoothly when trying to use the bump box. Nothing seems crazily loose like it has before. It’s almost like the box is too much for the fly wheel like it spins it loose??
Josh Elkins you can't go wrong that's for sure! At the end of the day after you have learned on the stock RTR Dynamite.28 motor just remove the engine and throw the fuck out and drop a real motor on that bitch that will blow your mind and run so much better trust me! Anyways let me know if you do get the RTR or even better the race 4.0 8T Kit so I can congratulate you on it and let me know if you ever have any questions or problems because I will have your back and help you out !!!
How reliable is this truck? Engine wise. I want to get one but am busy and just want to start up and run. Don't mind tuning here and there just not every single time I have to run it. Thanks.
Love the videos, brother. After 15 years out of the hobby, I'm back and picked up a 8ight-T and broke it in exactly as you did over the series of video. Besides getting a 053 pipe and better motor, what other upgrades do you recommend for this truggy?
Awesome 👏 welcome back 👍💥🤜🤛 I would do a Novarossi.28/8 engine with a 41032 header and a 51021/9886 pipe !! Then get TLR 4.0 turn buckles and all three 4.0 Diffs !
just got mine other day, runs pretty good, did the 4 tanks heat that damn lower mount which i cant find. may take to machiune shop have them mill the oem tall fucker down some for bumb box hate that pull starter got back plate coming
Zombie Peanut if they ever give me any lip ? They know I will bring my Motorcycle club over for a party 🎉 and that would be worse the. Thunder trust me!!! I have done this already before and that's why I can break in engines at 11 on at night as well!! Lmao!! No BS I have proof of everything I say!
Hey bud thanks for the video i live in the south and humidity is terrible i think my car is to lean do you by chance know what the factory carb settings are on these
Hey man, love the vid. I have the same rtr and was wondering about a 28-8 nova. I've heard the rtr diffs can handle the power if you replace the diff grease with oil. Is this true? Also, I disassembled my rear diff to see how dirty the grease was, and it's full of oil. I thought there was grease in the rtr version.
How does thickening the diff oil put more power down doesn’t it put more strain on the engine or spur gear?? Also why do you bloke the holes on the tires?
Grant Andrews I explain it many times in past videos over and over. Do you race or Bash? If you Bash or just want to keep up or even beat 8S Xmaxs or 6 S Lipo Arrma KRATONs or 4 S TLR Truggies ? You must do the Diffs on your Nitro Truggy or Buggy! But Do Not Do this if you race at race tracks!! I blocked the holes on the RTR losi Rims because I want mine sealed so when I wash my Daughters RTR Losi 8T the wheel won't get any water 💦 stock in them making the wheel heavy and off balanced! I usually only use Proline or DE Racing rims then I will mount Badland 3.8s to them and there are no holes at all on them and it's great .
Bought the same Truggy and today went to run 30% in it after doing all your breakin procedures and setting up all the stuff for The bump box and I couldn’t get it to idle without the glow igniter. As soon as I took it off it died Unless I kept giving it a good amount of gas to stay running
That’s a simple fix just lean your low after you pre heat your engine to 200 degrees Fahrenheit until it can idle! Do not touch the idle gap screw it should be set already from factory at 1/2mm. Don’t just run 30% fuel !!! It must be Byron’s 30-11%
BOTAJELL LOL I messed with the idle gap screw... it idles after I preheat the engine and as soon as I remove the glow igniter it’s Dies. I run 30% - 11% torco fuel
Derek Matson Torco fuel does not carry 30-11% only Byron’s does ! If you want to use Torco? You must add some castor oil to it if your a basher and like to be at wide open throttle. If you messed with your gap? You must set it back to 1/2mm then use your low speed to make it idle . Also make sure your high speed is at flush or a little In because if it’s way out ? That can cause you issues also
Derek Matson right but it’s only 100% synthetic and you must have a 50/50 mix of synthetic and castor in your 10% oil but it doesn’t. You will have to add castor in it if you really want to bash it’s a must!! 100% synthetic is only good for racers with only short bursts but of full wide open throttle no longer then 9 full seconds. Byron’s 30-11 comes with everything already done for your and done consistently in a lab 🧪 🔬 not a garage in somebody’s home . I used to run torco and I miss the smell from it but I’m done adding castor oil to every gallon every time I run. Get the right fuel , reset your carb , preheat your engine and make sure your igniter is fully charged and ones your engine fires 🔥 up keep it running! Give it throttle and keep giving it throttle until it clears up for a bit don’t be afraid to do this and then remove your igniter
Would really like to get back in to this, i used to build these from parts on ebay and sell them as rtr... This looks like it might be a good starting kit to just have as an rtr, yeah?
Dan Kellett yes it is it’s a great platform to start out with for sure. Wish I had something like this years ago lol! My daughter runs this RTR Nitro Truggy and I run the TLR 4.0 Nitro Truggy Race Kit but I have it set up for bashing !
Do you know if the LOSI 8ight T RTR is based on the 3.0 or 4.0? I’m looking up upgrade from the stock chassis and also upgrade the shock towers. Would really appreciate feedback.
The losi RTR is definitely not No TLR 4.0 and No 3.0 race kit!! There are many things different from diffs to bearings to outdrive cups to suspension to many things and it’s definitely deferent then the 4.0 because deferent chassis plus everything else but it’s the same style chassis like the 3.0 . Just the 3.0 is lighter and hard anodized bust same style/shape chassis. Many of the parts from 3.0 and 4.0 will fit on the RTR losi
Hi BotaJell, first off love your channel! Could you please spare a couple of minutes for some advice? I have just got myself a Losi 2.0 T rtr hardly used mint condition Totally because of your 4.0 beast 👍 Now the engine is the standard 454 and previous owner had it running on crap 15 fuel. I use Byron 25 on my other nitros and would like to use on this. What would be your advice on changing over? Thanks
You have to retune it or even get a new piston and sleeve but try retuning it first but if it’s really bad you might have to get a new piston and sleeve
Thanks for advice! All is well, had it running today. Basically treated it like a new engine. I’ve got it idled good and running awesome. Could probably get more out of it but leaving how it is for now👍
Your engine will run better and better to tune with Byrons 30 % nitro and 11 % oil !! It Must have the 11 % oil that will have the 50/50 mix of Castor and synthetic oils . That 454 motor is a better motor then this new 28 that comes on new Truggy. Learn on that then slap a Novarossi 28-8 or a PICCO Boost or the new LRP.30 X or .32 X
In the new year I will be changing out for the 32, or maybe get the 4.0 kit and put the 32 in that but will see. This 454 is running sweet on 25 but I hear what you say and will change over fuel. Keep up the videos!! Thanks for getting back to me really appreciate it.
BOTAJELL these videos youve posted have been crazy informative! I was out of the nitro scene since 2010. Out of the RC scene altogether. But you have officially brought me back! Ordered a new bump box abd some battery packs for my Losi 8ight 1.0 race kit! Its got a Novarossi P5XS .21, really hoping the engine isnt locked up from being stored since 2013. Either way, I bought this 8ight-T RTR kit yesterday. $399 from Horizon. Hell of a deal! Quick question though... you think its safe to break this engine in on 30%? Thats all I have right now. I called and asked a Horizon tech and he said that with this Dynamite .28 its best to break it in with the fuel I plan on running it with daily. (Which would be 30%) but you use 20%. What do you think brotha?
nickdogg1993 if you run Byron’s 30% nitro like me ? Make sure it has 11%Oil in it and you will be safe for everything even break in because you will have it very rich anyways ! That’s plenty oil and it will have castor and synthetic mix
BOTAJELL thanks man! Btw, last night i took my glow plug out of the rossi .21 and tried to turn the flywheel by hand and its not budging. I was planning on dropping some 3 in 1 through the carb and a few drops down the cylinder. If i heat this thing up and let the oil soak in for an hour or so, you think it will free up on the starter box? I appreciate the advice!
nickdogg1993 take the plug out and preheat the engine to 200 degrees Fahrenheit just in case the engine has a tight pinch still . Then just set it to Bottom Dead Center
BOTAJELL so I heated up the engine and it didnt help with the flywheel... what I did was take a flathead screwdriver and kinda "pop" it clockwise on the flywheel and it loosened right up! Compression is good from what i can tell. My glowplug is arriving today so I will know tonight if she fires up! I was getting nervous when it was still seized up lol.
@BOTAJELL I have a Team Associated Monster GT 8.0 I messed with the carburetor settings on all screws and it won't start now. Can you tell me or show me how to set the 8.0 carb back to factory settings? Thanks ahead @BOTAJELL 🤘
I tune to how I like it to sound to me I don’t go by turns ?? Idle gap 1/2 mm then I lean low speed until it can idle only after I heat the engine with a heat gun to 200 degrees Fahrenheit then after it idles I lean the high speed until it looks and sounds good to me . But you must use a good fuel with the right mix ! I like 30% nitro with 11 % oil but the oil must have a 50/50 mix of castor oil and synthetic oil and it must be from a professional fuel place because that’s how you know your getting what they say they have and it will be most consistent just Facts!! To many people now making there own fuel mix’s now can only sell in quarts because they do not have the right setup nor do they pay the taxes to sell legally in gallons to people so open your eyes 👀 at all times and look into where your getting your fuel from. Be carful to who you listen to aswell because those guys are getting there fuel for free to show on there videos and lie about all the times they rebuild there engines! Those guys only race and don’t bash so they don’t use the mix we need nor do they care about you or the hobby because if they did ? They would never become blow jobs for free garbage 🗑 fuel
I have a question when i start my losi eight nitro truggy the same one you have in this vid the truggy just goes to full throtal and just randomly stops how do i make it so it itals well?
@@BOTAJELL thanks appreciate it i got the problem fixed i needed to reset the high and low speed needle and it worked perfectly i also think it was to cold outside.
Hey my nitro friend. I had a quick question. Hoping you can help me out. I just bought a losi 8ight truggy rtr and I was wondering if I could upgrade to the 4.0 kit chassis? Just because I like the fact that chassis has the engine mount marks. It would help me out as I am a getting back into nitro again. Thanks, Erik
Aye big bro !! I see u love that losi company. Please try a redcat out one time. I own a few as well as traxxas products . But that redcat Mann it run like a champion
Are you on any facebook nitro groups? Also i would like to chat with you about diff fluids. I have two of these losi's. Hope to hear from ya boss shes a screamer thats for sure!
We have several groups. Nitro rc enthusiast and nitro engines unlimited come check them out man we'd love for a boss like you to join! We have all kinds of og nitro people in the groups.
Hello BotaJell I’ve got my car set up the car is still somewhat rich and I’m trying to get it to where when after you’ve gave it a nice long run and once the motor settles down, it seems to choke when I take off again and ur video says I should be able to pull off smooth and nice what is that please don’t tell me I need to lean my idle needle
CLEVELAND COLEMAN Do not touch your idle screw!!!! Make sure your idle gap is 1/2 mm !!!! Then warm up your engine with heat gun to 200 degrees! Then start up your engine and keep leaning out your low speed needle until she can idle on her own. Then put the car on the ground and run it full throttle and keep leaning out your high speed needle until it runs good . Then if you hear 👂 your idle get higher ? You may have to richen the low speed just to lower your idle sound! Never touch your idle screw to lower or raise the idle only your low speed and only at 200 plus temps never cold!!!!!! Zeeeeeaah!!!!!
Hey BOTAJELL, so Im working on base tune for same engine / car. Engine broken in and engine warmed up before any tuning performed. Im struggling w/ bottom end stability of tune tho. Basically whats happening is after doing some full speed passes, if I bring it back and let her idle for 10+ seconds ... if I do a blip of like 50% throttle for 1/8-1/4 second ... RPMs will shoot up nicely and quickly(w/ lots of smoke) but when they come back down the engine bogs below idle then most of the time recovers its idle 1 second or so later, but sometimes it bogs so low that it stalls out. Another behavior is after said high speed passes, engine starts idling then within 5-20+ seconds it will seem to drop idle slightly again(load up?). Is this all just a matter of overly rich LSN? Im curious as well, what idle gap do you start with, because Im not sure if thats correct on my engine, I started around .6-7mm or so(engine manual doesnt specify a specific starting measurement lol). I think my HSN is ok because if I do a couple of WOT passes, the top end I see a thin trail of smoke similar to the vid above and sounds similar.
Jason M set your idle gap to 1/2mm not 1mm and definitely not 6 or 7mm lol 😂. Warm up engine to 200* Fahrenheit, start it up and if it does not idle ? Lean the low speed needle until it will stay running for at least 6 to 7 seconds then set the truggy on the floor and run it back and forth at a full throttle to see where your High speed needle needs to be . So you may have to keep leaning the high speed little at a time until your engine sounds good and runs and sounds good but still see a little smoke . If your idle sound goes up ? Do not lower the idle needle! Lower your low speed needle a cunt hair at a time until the idle sound drops ! Always use Byron’s 30-11% nitro fuel with medium plug and everything will work out fine together with this tune I just said . If you run some traxxas shit ? It will confuse you because the engine will sound and put out different amounts of smoke and this is why most people new to this get confused
@@BOTAJELL thanks for reply, yeah i meant to say idle Gap i have is somewhere between .6-.7mm, so pretty close to 1/2 you specify. I'm running stock plug with some 20/11 nitro currently. idk what temp stock plug is, maybe ill swap out w/ med/hot ones i bought n retune, considering what u suggested.
Jason M run 30/11 forget that 20. Unless your breaking in a new engine. If your breaking in new engine ? Use 20/16! Send me a video of how it’s running so I can see it or if your in Long Island N.Y. ? Stop by my house or I will try to go to you and I will set you up so you can start having fun ASAP!
@@BOTAJELL thanks much for the offer, unfortunately im on other side of country lol. i dont have easy access to fuel u mention, ill tune best i can w/ ur suggested approach. just now i readjusted my idle gap to size of small paper clip, measured those are tad smaller than .6mm ... breakin is already done on engine. my hsn was previously pretty good, but now i just checked my servo epa adjustment and carb was only being opened like 9/10 of the way on full throttle. so, ill reset the lsn n hsn and retune. oh, im wondering what settings for this carb did u start with? 2 sources on this car say 2 diff things lol!. so, is starting flush on hsn good starting point? i think both sources i mention said bout 2 turns out on lsn as starting point.
Jason M I start from flush and flush and I tune by ear and eyes ! I don’t count turns or care about that . I don’t care if it’s 100 turns ! If it sounds good and looks good it’s good to me for my Nitros or my 12 year daughter RTR truggy !
Man! How do I get my car to run like this ? I have been messing with it for hours and hours. I can’t achieve a stable idle and even if I some how get it to idle just a tiny bit of gas and the thing shuts off... any ideas ?
Make sure you are running Byron’s 30-11 nitro fuel then make sure your idle Gap is 1/2mm open, then make sure your low and high speed is flush and flush or whatever stock settings is to help you since your new to this. Then preheat your engine to 200 degrees Fahrenheit then with a good medium heat glow plug and a fully charged igniter start it up and if it fires up ? Keep Reving it for a little so it Clears up and gets warmed up a bit then let go of the trigger/stop giving it gas and see if it can idle ? If it dies out ? Lean your low speed little by little until your engine can idle! Once it stays running , throw it on the ground and start full throttle runs then if it sound and looks like crap ? Keep leaning your high speed needle until it sounds and looks great 👍 but if your engine starts to idle high when the car is still ? Just richen back your low speed needle until the idle drops a little! Do not use your idle screw for that ! After your idle gap is set to 1/2 mm it stays like that forever only use your low speed needle as your idle
Hi , Im new subscriber fairly new to the hobby, I bought a traxxas nitro truck about almost 17 years ago, now I want to start again, Im looking into Losi 8ight Truggy RTR just like the one in the video, but Im also looking at a Kyosho Inferno Neo ST Truggy RTR really similar, which would you recommend ? Kyosho is only $79 higher
Michael Harris I use the fail safe from my Futaba 4PLS and 7PX system . I do not use any kill switch either on any of my many Nitros that I have. Killer B does make a set up for Nitros if you really want one . Give them a call and ask .
Everything but mostly the head just go around the engine! Stay away from fuel tank and electronics then take the temperature from the head . Just like this video and many others I’ve done
DFW Boxing is Back no need to bro don’t sweat that especially if it’s got a back plate like this one uses . If your O-rings are torn on the carburetor or the back plate or pull/roto ? Just replace them with fresh ones and Lube them up with green slime or shock silicone spray and install them also Torque you head bolts down and if your experiencing leaks after that and if you notice your chassis with a little oil or fuel ? It’s your Crank bearings . Also make sure your exhaust gaskets are fresh no rips so no leaks and no cracks in fuel tank and fuel lines are good with no cuts on them
Hey man would this rtr model be able to handle a 28-8 novarassi out the box? What all are must need upgrades if any to safely run a novarossi 28-8 on this rtr model I'm thinking of just buying this rtr instead of a kit just for now I've had this model a couple times before and I absolutely loved it
You will put more power to the ground with the race kit like a 4.0 because the diffs are different so when you thicken the 4.0 diff oils you will feel it and on the RTR it will always feel thin and with a Modified Novarossi 28-8 it will pizza 🍕 cut the tires and that’s wasted power not getting to the ground and one wheel wonders sometimes the front wheels will just spin like crazy and back wheels are lazy . Also the 4.0 Truggy race kit is balanced better so when you want to jump high it’s a lot more controllable and you t will feel better!! But if your new to this hobby and never had a good quality Nitro Truggy before or if your coming out of the Nitro MT stuff ? The RTR 8ight T will feel great 👍 for you like a million bucks compared to a Nitro MT but the 4.0 is even better. There are better shocks also besides Diffs and out drive cups and lightened spurgear, ring gears and the Axels are greased and sealed . You can stick a stock 28-8 or 7 in a RTR no worries 😉 and it will be fun until your plastic turnbuckles break but you will get more out of those engines on a 4.0
@@BOTAJELL Thanks for the advice bro I appreciate it and the fast response! I'll probably just go with a 4.0 kit then I've seen your videos on them and it definitely seems worth it to me I dont want to have to be replacing parts all the time because of the power the 28-8 has
My friend i have a problem i bought a losi truggy rtr new and i bought another start box tlr when i put the car over start box the distance is not enough The wheel does not touch the engine to work ... i have a problem in the engine the engine is a little high what do i do .. i bought a base for engine from TLR truggy kit ??? 🤕🤕🤕
Mario Cerqueira bro give me a call ! Wtf lol 😂 just seeing this comment now . I’m not sure who you are yet? Stop by Friday or Saturday !! Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽 to you and your family
Mario Cerqueira bro give me a call ! Wtf lol 😂 just seeing this comment now . I’m not sure who you are yet? Stop by Friday or Saturday !! Happy thanksgiving 🦃🍽 to you and your family !
Steve M cool 💥👍! Just make sure it’s the Truggy Not the Buggy unless you like the little buggy more?? Truggy is always best because it can do it all! Let me know how it goes? Is the 350 price for buggy ? Or Truggy? If it’s for Truggy ? I’ll have to get another lmao 🤣
The buggy is 350 and the truggy is 400. The buggy has the .21 and the truggy has the .28. I just picked up the buggy today and got her broke in. Ran about a quart through it. Still gotta fine tune it sometime this week, but lovin it so far. Check out HobbyTownUSA.com. They have them online at this price right now!
Steve M I knew that the Truggy was to good to be true at $350 lol 😂!!! No thanks on the Buggy I got a 4.0 TLR Buggy But already but I would but another Truggy even if it’s a RTR beginner rc if it was ever at $350 new lol !! Thanks for getting back to me on this and clearing things up! I’m waiting for the all New Nitro TLR X TRUGGY to come out next. I know it will be stupid money but I must have it . My 4.0 TLR Truggy was $700 bucks when it first came out and now it’s 500 bucks lol
Looking to pick up a RTR 1/8 BUGGY. I'm trying to decide between the Losi 8ight or the Kyosho Inferno Neo 3.0. Both are right at the $350 price mark. Which would you recommend out of the two??
Losi 8ight Truggy ! The NEO is a little smaller. It’s like a Big buggy but that RTR losi 8IghtT is just like a 3.0 but without the quality parts from a TLR Kit
@@BOTAJELL thanks. I'll definitely be watching these great videos again when it's time to break in the motor! I've broken in a Traxxas Slash Nitro but their method was a little different.
Hey man can you give me spaspific details about your break in method, like whta fuel for brake in, which I’m assuming is not 30/11, just give me all the details u can please, thanks Ps. Can I do this in the winter
NICK Cervantes the white box was just to keep the truggy off the ground so if the wheels spin it won’t take off and the black box is called a Bump Box that is used to start my Truggies and Buggies because I use Nitro engines that use back plates for a better seal and more power and longer run times !! I don’t like nitro engines that use pull starts and roto drill starts they all suck compared to a nitro engine with back plates!
Not just powerful it’s better and runs better and cooler! The most important thing you should be talking about is the 11%oil Byron’s 30/11 uses not just the 30. 11% oil with a 50/50 mix of castor oil and synthetic oils . That way you can do it all bash or race and keep tune better .
Sounds like your mesh is to tight ? Stop driving it and check your mesh or check for bad bearings. Check everything, check to see if there’s any play in the diff or clutch bell and if there is replace all the bearings . Also check the breaks sometimes if something is off the pads can make that noise also .
@@BOTAJELL so I replaced bearings and shimmed it until I heard that tick then tightened it. Hsn and man adjusted and put two green springs on the clutch. Check out the new vid. How does she sound to you ?
I only run 50/50 mix of castor oil with synthetic oil in my 30% nitro ! Not ever 30% is mixed the same !!! In fact they are and can be very different from one another so be careful where you get your fuel from
man I never thought I’d get a response lol, thanks for the advice boss. I’ve been running sidewinder 20% with 12% castor in my .18... you think that’s a good fuel?
Sean Jhonson for what ? For breaking in Nitros or running my engines for the rest of its life ???? I show and explain everything in this video what that I only run Byron’s 30/11 on every nitro engine I have !!!! That’s it!! I only run 20/16 when I break in new engines but after that it’s always Byron’s 30 % with 11% oil !!!!
I had a kyosho burns dx years a ago with a .21 os max so I’ve been outta the game along time and wanting to buy my son this losi 8 kit that’s why I was asking.
Sean Jhonson that’s awesome 👏 bro 👍🏼👊⛽️🔥💨 I would love to gain another Nitro Brother especially a new generation Nitro Brother to take this game over from us and take this to the next level Any ?’s Your a Super Dad bro that’s awesome 👏!! Most New generation kids don’t know what a Fn Torques Bit is or a Flywheel puller or a Torque Wrench 🔧 is used for !! Sad But True!
John Holland Hell No Not for me! Nitro Truggy for Bashing we do 100,000 on center Diff and 50,000 front and rear Diffs! Do not do this if your racing on a track! Only do this if you Bash and want more power to the ground
No I only run 30 / 11 % that uses a 50/50 mix of synthetic oils and castor oils always and I always run a medium plug and I don’t care for what the companies tell newbies to do to try to cover there asses This is what I do from what I have been threw with Nitro and learned since 1992. I run all nitro engines on this mix of fuel Big Block and small block and Byron’s is the company that makes it . There are some other brands that make this mix and there awesome aswell as long it’s this mix of half castor and half synthetic oils and 11 % of it in 30% nitro
XJayLoomX lmao 🤣! No bro because I clean the snow off there driveways ! I bust my ass on my block plus I own 2 homes on that block so they don’t mess with me much! If they do ? I will invite my Motorcycle Club over for a BBQ 🍗 and there will be an earthquake there with 42 Harley Davidsons V-Twins running ZEEEEEAAH!! Any Questions ?
XJayLoomX for me I have more fun with Nitro and Gas Engines so I do what I’m more into! I have done a lot of electric RC and it doesn’t make me feel good it’s boring to me and it just feels different like fake to me ! But if you like electric and love to always charge batteries and swap out batteries and buying expensive batteries and solder wires and sometimes putting out electrical fires 🔥 and dealing with ESCs that are to hot and you only like to drive RCs for 10 to 15 minutes go for it ! Sometimes people just aren’t mechanically inclined and don’t own many tools 🧰 and don’t want get many tools so electric is better for them ! I’m saying this because I have done all this . I also love the Gas engines ! I love 2 stroke stuff . But sometimes some guys are afraid to dirty there hands because there estrogen levels are hi and lacking testosterone so electrics are best for them!! Nitro and gas ⛽️ is not for everyone that’s just my opinion and batteries 🔋 belong in vibrators just my opinion lmao 🤣💥👍💥👊💥🤝💥
