Some Full Send flights and Punchouts on different Lipos with the NEW Rcinpower GTS V3 802 27000kv Motors! I'm sure I'll be able to say more about these and other motors in the future.
Take what you need from this video. You can jump to the lipo that interests you. (GNB 1S HV 550mah 100C, Dogcom 1S HV 450mah 100C, Dogcom 1S 550mah 150C, Tattu 1S 500mah 95C R-Line, EMAX (GNB) 1S 450mah 80C) Or compare between the different lipos. Compare voltage sag and punchout power. Or whatever you want. You can also ask me a question in the comments. I try to answer all. Outside Temperature was about 7 degrees celcius on these Test Flights.
This video is PART 3 (Outdoor full send flights) of a series about these rcinpower GTS v3 802 Motors.
PART 1: Comparison on Indoor Racetrack with other Whoops
PART 2: Punchouts and Orbits
My first experiences with these RCinpower GTS V3 27000kV Motors on my sub 22g dry 75mm Whoop with AWG 20 Main Cable and PH2.0 solid Pin Plug:
- More Power than any other 802 Size Motor I`ve tested
- ESC (or/and Lipos) are not happy (as expected) (10-12A FC recommended!)
- Flighttime is very short (as expected)
- Soldering directly to the FC without Motor Plugs is a must!
- BT2.0 Plug or GNB27 and AWG20 main cable is highly recommended!
I believe to feel a little difference to 802 motors with bushings in the throttle control due to the double ball bearings. I think I can feel the ball bearings. But maybe thats just me. In any case they run smooth. Unfortunately, it has not been proven that they are significantly more efficient than the 802 motors with the bushings in this exact configuration. So what remains the same: These 802 27k Motors must be soldered directly to the FC for good results. Furthermore, a BT2.0 or GNB27 main connector is advantageous. And also an AWG20 main cable (if you intend to fly with 450mah Lipos or bigger). And (at least in this configuration) it makes no sense to fly with 300mah lipos. But maybe that would be different with the Z-Fold Tattu 300mah with BT2.0. Or with the GNB 380mah 90C (together with bt2.0 or gnb27 connector).
In terms of durability I think the 1002 Motors have the advantage here because of the 1.5mm motor shaft. This rcinpower GTS V3 802 Motor unfortunately hasn`t a 1.5mm shaft :-/ (only 1.0mm shaft) Of course I'm also curious whether the rcinpower 802 motors with the dual ball bearings are more durable than the motors with bushings. I will of course keep you updated as soon as I know more.
I can't give any recommendations for these rcinpower GTS V3 802 motors yet. But what I can say: I think we can give these engines a chance. So if you are a tinkerer like me I would say give these motors a try.
27000kV for pro pilots. 25000kV for intermediate pilots and 22000kV for beginners to intermediate pilots or if you wan`t to fly with 300mah Lipos.
Are you faster with the 802 motors on a small indoor racetrack? Yes of course if you are a very experienced pilot. But the smoothness, the constant power and the flighttime of the 1002 motors is also not bad, especially for beginners.
In short: If you're not a top notch super competitive pilot it doesn't matter that much. You can choose 802 or 1002 Motor size. 19-22k is best for beginners and intermediate pilots.
Try it out, have fun. Most important remains: practice practice practice
(pure sticktime on different tracks)
Flight time: (on this racetrack under the conditions written in the video)
Rcinpower GTS V3 802 27000kV with Tattu 1S HV 450mah 95C has about 1:30min flighttime on this track in the video. ESC firmware is only BLHeli 16.7! No fancy bluejay stuff yet..

playground fly sights seen to be the best spots for 65 and 75s.. great flying skills sir. you make great informative videos. it seems like little whoops starts to be a life style where thats what i prefer to fly and "collect"... lol . Are you running BF4.4 (RC3)
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад
I hope I understand you correctly. Thank you! For me whoops are a lifestyle! It's so convenient (much more than 5inch), you can fly better with friends, you can fly wilder, learn to fly faster in a faster way, and you don't bother anyone with whoops in populated areas. I love it❤ whoop whoop🥳 Nope, BF4.2 on this whoop I think. and on my other whoops BF4.3.1

Yes playground is in theory good for small whops. But unfortunately on my places is almost always some wind. That's why I prefer to fly with my 85mm 1102 18k.

@ButterflyFPV yes I'm dying to get the Meteor85 2022 edition. Do you think that's a good choice for 85
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад
@@crs768 Yes if you want 2S. Just don't expect 7min flight time. More like 4min on 450mah and 3min on 300mah (2:30 min full send)
@crs768
@crs768 Год назад
@ButterflyFPV yes I think that would make a great 2s. It seems like only betafpv sells them. I stopped buying from their website because it's like 35-45 days shipping. I do want one tho. I'm new to the Hobby. That's why I stalk your videos like I do I'm trying to learn as much as I can. If you know of a location where I can get one I would definitely appreciate it. What goggles are you running if you don't mind me asking

Hows the flight time versus 1002 22k on 40mm bi-blades? I also have those dogcom 550s :)
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад
Higher flighttime with 1002. About 2:30min to 3:00min with 1002 (FULL SEND) with 450mah 95CLipos. But I don`t like 1002 with Bi-Blades to much. (to heavy quad, not enough pop). And if you then fly with the Dogcom 550mah then the total weight will be even higher.. In any case, the flight time is definitely a bit higher with the 1002, but at the expense of agility. If you don't need the agility then 1002 is a good option. I hope this helps you..

will the Hglrc specter 0802 21000kv motors can achieve more flight time with this Dogcom 1s 550?
@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv 7 месяцев назад
Not if you fly them full send like I do. And if you don`t fly full send, why dogcom 550mah 150C? Does not make sense in my eyes (because dogcom 550mah are powerful but also heavy because of the very high C-Rating) Also: Be sure to pay attention to my video descriptions and the latest videos from the respective build. In this case the video OFFICIAL RELEASE Butterfly75 802 27k

@@butterflyfpv yes, i asked this 550 dogcom, because there's no other available 1s 550mah like the betafpv BT2.0..my 75mm whoop is Petrel75V2 that recommends also hglrc 1s 550mah but that battery has 100c and also not available in my country. I saw this dogcom 550 as sale in 1 hobby store.. sorry for making you confused, but i was just thinking if this dogcom 550 would be compatible with my petrel tinywhoop.. purpose of flying is only for mid speed flying, few flips.,but not for full send.

@@Quad8ightMix Oh ok I see. I mean it will work, but your whoop will be heavy and not very powerful with 21000kV Motors. The only way to get more power and flight time at the same time is by soldering high kV motors directly to the FC without a motor connector and flashing Bluejay 96khz ESC firmware with motor timing low. And of course BT2.0 plug or GNB A30. If you just need more flight time then you can do the same with the 21000kv motors. However with Bluejay 48khz (I think 96khz only feels good with high kV motors with 25000kV or more..) The Dogcom are good, but due to the high C rate and the resulting weight, these lipos are not ideal for you. What I'm trying to say is that the flight time with the Dogcom 550 might not be as good as you expect. If you could somehow find lightweight GNB 550mah 75-100C A30 that would definitely be more ideal. Or you can also try 450mah lipos. Sometimes the flight time is almost the same due to the lower weight. I hope you understand what I mean and I hope I could help you. Happy flying! Whoop whoop!

@@butterflyfpv thanks for your understanding, tips and advices, i already found an available GNB 1s 530 (12g) lighter than the required 1s 550mah 90c and same weight as the GNB 450 as detailed in specs, btw Petrel75v2's specter FC has Z_H_30 BlueJay firmware.

@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад

@butterflyfpv
@butterflyfpv Год назад
