This multi part video focuses on the critical design aspects of an RF Push-Pull amplifier. The example shown uses an IRF510 MOSFET transistor to explain impedance matching, biasing, amplifier classification, circuit stability, feedback, tuning, power output, harmonic distortion, and other important design characteristics. From this video, the viewer will gain an in-depth understanding of how to design, build, and test an RF power amplifier. Your presentation and explanations are as clean as your amps. Veteran machine system designer here but total RF rookie so I'm learning a ton. Thank you!

Excellent information, thorough and well presented. I just watched the entire amplifier series, and now think I can build a similar amp from scratch. That makes me smile, because understanding and working with RF are what ham radio is all about. Thank you.

Thanks a whole bunch for making all these videos and the work that you put into them; they are just great! Also, amazing what you can do with IRF510s, a real little 'trooper' of a device! I am planning to get into all this since I'm now retire so been collecting parts and equipment; just now need to fill-up on the theory. Again, really appreciate it and 73...

Great videos. I have just gone through a lot of your videos and found them interesting. I am not a communication guy but really interested in finding a working simple circuit (made at home) for RF control transmittier and receiver for one bit or 4 bits over a few km and how to design an amplifier and choose an antenna to make it tens of km. I hope you can share some designs or resources and better if you could go through some videos designing and testing them

Hi, thank you very much for your videos. I built your amplifier, and now I need to set it up. I have juste 15W on the output but I do not use M43 material, so I will change my trasformer. Just a quick question, because I am so happy to understand a full video in English: where are you from? Thanl you again , 73

First row in the table - FB resistor should be rather infinity than zero ohms for 0% of feedback ;)

@10:53 The feedback resistors actually made the 3rd harmonic worse, not better, because the fundamental went down more than the 3rd harmonic did! If you had put markers on you would have seen this.
