Ton's of lessons learned already. We went from idea and concept to invoicing, and it's a lot to learn, but it is possible and absolutely a great way to build a business if you put the work in. I bought the book, lost it while traveling, came back and bought another one. Thanks for all of your knowledge and support.

The book is awesome (I wrote the review on the website lol). One huge thing I've learned is that slow and steady is so important in the beginning. I'm coming up on my first 6 months in this space and I've learned more once I've decided to slow down and prepare before each day/week. Also, slow down mentally. I used to get so excited for a big win, but now I focus more on processes that will lead to winning. Love this channel, keep providing value to the go getters!

Island of Dr. Moreau, "What is the law?" (Besides walking on 2 feet...) Newton: 1st law, an object will not change its motion unless a force acts on it. 2nd law, the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration. 3rd law, when two objects interact, they apply forces to each other of equal magnitude and opposite direction. PS - I went back to school at 27, and yes, when the success is not optional... the results become phenomenal.

All your videos are inspiring and helpful. Thank you Your subcontractors part was so helpful and helped me get over what needs to be asked. I’ve learned that companies usually like a sort a sweet email to start the conversation of what needs to be done/ being bid on. A simple 2-3 sentences to get them hooked Thank you again 👍👍

The biggest thing I learned was to stay away from Shiny Object Peddlers. I had a paid quote unquote teacher that was pushing every Shiny Object to pacify students because she wasn’t teaching a damn thing, so it was always you are not winning is because you don’t have CMMC certification, DLA training you are not going to XYZ conventions and the real problem was her. I dropped her like a bad habit and am more the wiser. Thank you for helping me recognize the BS!

Awesome videos as usual, my issues are Subs trying to go behind you and Under bid on the same job that they just quoted you to win the bid😮

This whole series has been great content - thank you. Gotta figure that I'm only uncomfortable because it's new and it's growth mode. (And yes, GovCon is a means to an end... I was relieved to hear you say that.)
