I love M'khiin. She's what really makes Siege of Dragonspear worth playing for me. My favorite bit is when she calls Edwin fat in response to his wordy insults. It's the perfect response; not dignifying his verbose bullying with more thought than you would on a playground. Nothing could piss him off more.
Khalid:I fight because I must, not to entertain. But fighting is fun! The athletic achievement, the sense of competition, the screams and blood of your enemies filling the air. Oh, sorry, Bhaal blood acting up. But it's true. In other news, Jaheira is like, no fun any more.
"maybe no one likes you because goblins are hideous little creatures, inside and out" I never wanted to reach through the screen and hurt someone so bad. my party turned on safana after she said that to m'khinn
And where is that double twisty thing between Neera and Glint? Well, you know, twisty thing is crazy with face melting and stuff. But double twisty - it should worth it. Totally worth it!
It's a shame SoD will always be known for arguably fair weak writing and such, but imo it's mostly inconsistent and there's still a lot to love about it. Honestly these are some of the best party banters in the whole series and some bad eggs are appearently enough to ruin it for most people. Not going to act like this game doesn't have issues, because it does, but it is a shame so many people are adamant on whatever post-release opinion they stuck with and didn't give this one a second chance, I did and it was honestly kind of worth it.
Yeah, she didn't appeal in BG 1, although neither did that game much. I'm fascinated by my Ed win and her talking different tongues at each other. Are they finally allying?
You are aware that the first game had a lot of one dimensional and cliché'd characters too, right? The same thing could be said about Baldur's Gate II.
