Absolute legend mate, I owe you a pint. You've probably seen me commenting on your other videos whilst trying to pin point the fault on my 350/90. Just dashed in the shed with my head torch on, removed the moulded circuit board, connected the battery directly to the pins, and she goes like a good un- fan just sticks on. The whole thing is absolutely filthy so fingers crossed with some contact cleaner the switch will be good again. Bloody chuffed! Just need 4 of them bolts that hold the casing together where the nails come out (9:19 in your video). What size allen key is that as well. If i remember rightly 2.5 was too small and 3mm too big. thank you sir!
Your a legend Dean, thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Sorted out my battery connection issue and then you had another video showing me where the parts go back. Fantastic that us guys who can’t afford new guns can get some help keeping the old ones working. Cheers from Sydney !
Hi Dean I have a gun like this it works OK but not snking nails all the way in , I have another gun that doesn't work at all the fan comes on if you press trigger but not when pressing end against wood , and it doesn't fire . Wonder if you had any ideas what it could be . Many thanks
You are a champion Sir! I will disassemble my 900420 because I feel and hope it just the battery contacts. If it is the piece your replaced, what is it called?
