@@deadaccount2048I could be wrong but I think I get that the only reason they were willing to fly with just one passenger is because the pilot was flying back home anyway. So I'm sure he didn't mind too much.
@@Jake-li7ihno it’s more expensive to lose the gate spots than to not run the flights. Airline companies will run empty flights on purpose just to keep their good spots and not pay fines.
This happened to me in 2000. I was the only passenger on a 767. The destination city-based crew members were really happy because had I not been there, the flight would have been canceled and they would have had to spend the night away from home.
@@vnc.tso you would rather wait an ungodly 18 hours just for your flight than get a different flight and just have to undergo a noisy plane. Y’know… like basically everyone else. Mmkay dude.
@@randomperson-be7dm thats certainly how your comment across, considering the OP made no comment about gender, but you did. Maybe check yourself next time?
I was in a flight once from Atlanta to Dayton, Ohio late at night and there were only about 25 or so passengers so the flight crew shuffled us around so everyone had a row to ourselves. We all stretched out and got some sleep before landing. It was the best flight ever
I had a similar flight like that. There was about 15-18 passengers. I left Sacramento and I was headed to Kentucky. But I was headed first to Atlanta for a five hour layover. It was nice to have no one in my row of seats. I was able to lay down and grab a good nap on the redeye to Atlanta.
@@daghetto101Cringe? Why? He’s a good looking guy and good looking ladies. It’s okay to flirt. You know that right? Only an insecure person would say what you did.
@@alextextingstories as the video said, other passengers found other planes to fly where they needed, but this dude decided to wait because his flight wasnt urgent, thats why he was alone there
@@alextextingstories i mean maybe not in this video, but if you did some research, or saw any other video, it says that other passengers just flew other planes, but this guy for some reason decided to wait for the plane
I was one of 6 on a full sized plane once. I told the flight attendants not to worry about me needing drink service because I was really tired and just wanted to sleep a bit. It was glorious. I stretched out across three seats and slept for four hours. The flight attendants were so kind. It was such a wonderful experience.
@@TheLisaGate I’m just saying that the ratio of space of space to passengers could be interpreted very differently, and my reply wasn’t made to invalidate your experience in anyway and sorry if it came across like that, but I just said it to say I’m not sure how to imagine it lol!
Right after 9/11 I flew from Louisiana to Dallas then to LA and on both flights I was the only passenger on the flights. Same thing as him. I had good food n all the drinks I wanted n the crew was very kind to me n we had a good time. My trip back to Louisiana I think there was two more people on the flight.
@@Jesuswarnedus that nearly 3000 people died after two planes crashed into the World Trade Center buildings? Even if you didn’t believe the reasons, you didn’t believe the facts?
He was like a celebrity for the day! Best seat, extra food and drink and no one bothering his movie or sleep.Doubt he slept in the 2 hr flight but,he could have dozed off with no noise lol! Best flight ever!
That's cool! I thought I was lucky when I got a half empty plane for an overnight trip & the 2 seats next to mine empty, so I could lie across all 3 to sleep for the night, but the one person only on the plane really takes the cake!
I’m sure it was the best experience minus the 18 hour wait time but sometimes it pays to be a trooper. I would have loved that experience. Happy staff, no distractions, just chill time.
I feel so bad for the crew. Pilots and FA’s don’t get paid during delays so for them to realise that the only thing stopping their pay is one person, that must be really annoying. But that also sounds so much fun! Imagine if it was international.
