I passed by two fatal motorcycle accidents this summer; one of them the rider passed me 10 minutes earlier taking the highway shoulder to get past traffic, when I caught up with him he had hit the accident that had caused the traffic and paramedics were trying to stabilize what was left of his head… he was not going to make it. The other was a motorcycle gang crying near a member who had come to rest on the opposite side of the highway from his bike. I felt bad because I ride too, I armor up but I wonder if that still would save me at highway speeds. Hope to never find out.
