The great thing about this version of "Password" is you get to see some of the real person come out--instead of the stage persona.The current Fallon " Password" does not--a lot of yelling and whooping.
You mean the NYC shows? The Los Angeles weeks always showed the audience during the opening, but the first time they showed the audience during the opening permanently in NYC(in the daytime anyway), was the week of May 29-June 2, 1967 when the daytime version returned to the NYC. The nighttime version never went to Los Angeles.
I really wish the CC option was available on these shows. It is very hard to hear / understand several of the speakers. Does anyone know what Connie Stevens gave a clue for the password "Honest"? The people needed to speak into the microphone.
