Eva Gabor was genuinely funny and witty . I think people underestimated her and her schtick. I love watching these old password episodes , they really give a great look at these old performers and how off the cuff talented some of them were.
Life sucks I remember her when I was little , most of the celebrities from back then are now gone .If I could only get the last 40 years back .Do you ever watch celebrity bowling , from back then ? I watch it on RU-vid , many of the stars are also gone , but wow ,they were all so skinny back then.
@@TheScouser1234 Well, I'm not a man, but I found her to be hilarious watching that show. English is her second language and she was quite entertaining.
That's funny, I had never heard of "upper birth" before… I went ahead and googled it and discovered it was referring to probably the top bed on a ship, i.e. upper BERTH ... LOL!
Password was meant to be a tense word game, but Eva makes it less serious and tense. She gets away with murder. It was better in the early sixties when contestants understood each other and the words
I have noticed that Allen Ludden usually asks the male contestants what do they do; whereas, he usually asked the women contestants if they have a family. I'm sure he was not purposely being sexist, but one wonders why he didn't think the women had a job or the men had a family.
I thought they never had Desi Arnaz on this show because he wouldn't have a good enough grasp of the English language and to much of an accent but he couldn't be any worse then Eva
Hugh Grant and Eva would have made a handsome couple and made some beautiful babies...Can't figure out why beautiful ppl don't procreate, she didn't have any children.
the poor contestants that got paired with Eva. Yikes. She wasn't that bright. She could not stop talking inappropriately and did not know what words were. Very self absorbed.
