While this is true, she will suffer for his embarrassment. I have face this myself. His narcissistic disease is triggered by embarrassment, shame, lost friendships, basically whenever he is not the center of attention or receiving praise.
The wife needs to quietly leave him without giving him or anyone else close to him information of her whereabouts. She must also save this video for future reference, go to the police, then get a restraining order against this man.
Usually he says he's in full time ministry and also asks her not to work so she has no financial independence (He's in charge of everything) if she leaves. It's such a common pattern. I feel so bad on her behalf. She is a typical victim whose self esteem has been constantly eroded. Usually such pastors use the Word of God to also bully members into submission.
My dear, I studied ministry after my divorce, and happened to fail the Submission module dismally because I’d often use my personal experiences to try and argue my point in as far as Submitting to a husband(as stipulated in the Bible). It’s men like this pastor who make it difficult for wives to submit. How does one submit to brutality and narcissistic behaviour??!!! The day men realise that submission is not commanded but earned will be a joyous day for me. I can only say this to you mamfundisi: “ Love yourself. You’re worthy and you’re enough. There are those of us in the church who are pastoral counselors and good at what we do, because we know abuse occurs within the church as well. I hope and pray that she finds those within her church that she can trust, and those outside her church she can trust, that she starts setting boundaries even within her marriage if she's choosing to stay.

I am a Christian counsellor specialised in emotional abuse and I can say that many women are suffering in silence in the church and unfortunately the pastor often takes side for the husband. And the congregation takes side for the pastor without questioning anything. Women in her situation end up very often isolated. Thank you for exposing this kind of behaviour. God bless
No elder in that church will hold him accountable? Thats disgusting behavior and i believe he talks to her like that all the time. In front of the whole church at that. Sometimes the church sets women up amd sometimes men for abuse and that is not christ in any way shape and form. Just sad.

I'm not embarrassed by this for the reason that it is showing Jesus' words at Matthew 7:20,21 to be true: "by their fruits, you will recognize those men Not everyone saying to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will."This person proving that Jesus' warning is true. Mistreatment of one's wife is NOT in harmony with God's will. In fact, this man's prayers are not even being heard according to 1 Peter 3:7. He forgot what is stated at Colossians 3:19. So if this "religious leader" is completely out of harmony with Jesus' teaching, and his actions go contrary to the Bible, he's only calling himself a Christian. But actions speak louder than words, and his don't match.

I have been in such situation where I shed tears during worship not just bcos I was being moved by the Holy spirit but the tears was as a result of how depressed I was..At that time I was also married to a pastor too. A well known pastor in my country as at then, indeed many pastors wives are going through alot😢
It's part of the African culture that's why. They normalise the abuse even in their own households. The church is treating the pastor like God that's why they are afraid to speak up.

The church responded like culturally they were not suprised! He felt too comfortable doing this, and they were quiet and seemed to not be bothered by it. He was out of order!!!!!

The way my soul was grieving for this woman of God. I know exactly how that feels to be embarrassed publicly by your husband who is supposed to be a man of God. I pray that she continues to be strong in the Lord, worship is the weapon that the Lord will use to destroy her enemies.

My opinion in this is that the pastor is having an affair and him ridiculing his wife is his way of try to get out of the marriage by making her seem incompetent in public to get the church members behind him I don't know if I'm making any sense.

Women in general cover years of both plain qnd subliminal emotional abuse they push on their husbands. They begin to use sex as a reward system for every little issue. It begins to trickle in gently but surely and then you hear RU-vid stories that cannot be verified.
The saddest thing is that she will pass on these dysfunctional patterns to her children. It's important to think about children when choosing a partner not just you. Now, the kids would go on to create their own pain using these dysfunctional patterns they are taught.

Tolerating abuse is not being strong. It's actually being emotionally weak. Strong people don't let other people treat them this way. And I am not bashing them, cause they indeed need strength to pick themselves up and leave. But being strong is not about letting someone hurt you and you are quiet. In the least it shows you have no guts, and have no life of yourself outside this person.
Madam Speaker, I suggest you round up about 20 pastors’ wives (both married and divorced) and interview them, I am sure you are going to have either an interesting but extremely emotional TV programme or RU-vid video that will open the eyes of many mamfundisis out there.
