Shieet I remember when Ricky was forced to play in the CFL because of a plant that is now fully legalized in Canada and some states in the US. My man was done dirty for medicating himself without consuming opioids like the league wanted him to do.

Best interview I've ever heard on this show.

Ricky went to my high school and I found that out when a science teacher (an old woman) literally had a framed photo of him. When I asked why, she said he was one of her sweetest, brightest students. Ricky never got the respect he deserved in the NFL, as a human. Really stoked to see its you guys giving him love.

I was a kid when Ricky was a big deal. Most I knew about him was weed and NFL Street. Never listened to interviews, because as a kid, why would I? So happy I was able to listen to him in Pat's show. Changed my entire perspective of him. Wish alot more people would get exposure to this.

I love Ricky Williams. Don’t care that he “didn’t pan out.” Actually completely identified with his take on pro sports; having been given a weird ultimatum as a Canadian counselor at a summer basketball camp in Kentucky. Pro sports types are full on weed hysteria addicts. If they’d have chilled on Ricky’s use he would have had an even more amazing career.
