Meh I’ve been a chiefs fan for 30 years and losing hill is still nothing compared to the years of 4-12,6-10, Damon Huard, Thigpen, Grbac. The chiefs weren’t going to pay him $30 mil a year. We now have the ability to add potentially 6 starters in the draft with how Veatch drafts plus $30 Million cap space and Hill can go terrorize the Bills. Yeah it hurts but long term we have Mahomes and need cheaper weapons who he can make look good and our defense needs those picks.

Ryan Ramczyk will move to LT and we'll be fine. Fact is I'm glad we didn't pay that for Armstead. Guy was too injury prone and has missed significant time in multiple seasons. Guy has missed time almost every season including 6+ games in 3+ different seasons.

Arm strength obviously helps him capitalize on his abilities, I’m just excited the Dolphins are finally addressing their issues. There’s no more excuses for Tua, we’ll find out one way or another this year if he’s capable and if not, we’ll have a solid team for whoever’s the next man up.

Based on what I found (source phinphanatic, seemingly a fansided site) its only 1 WR ,called Tyquan Thornton, with a 4.28 40yard dash (Hill was 4.29) rest is over 4.3. And also not to forget: Hill wasn't just fast & agile he also catched, was good at running routes and reliable. Speed is not everything, its nothing if people don't get open or don't catch the balls. Sure its just next man up but not that easy to replace him tough but well if someone can make it look easy its proably Andy Reid ;)

Just imagine how good that defense would be if they kept their picks and cap space to build the defense and drafted one of the 6 WRs in the draft who are as fast as or faster than Hill.

Adams had never hurt the Chiefs in either game against Packers..not worried about Adams..CHIEFS building for future with draft picks to keep weapons coming..sometimes you need to make moves like this and give up a possible year to rerun another 4 straight AFC TITLE GAMES..with DK Metcalf still available who has Hill type of speed..who knows what the Chiegs may do with these draft picks.( also 4 WR clocked faster than Hill in the NFL COMBINES..Might be that Chiefs will try and snag one with one of these draft picks and will sign them to a 3-5 year Rookie Contract..then what have they really lost with the Hill trade?

Receivers are a dime a dozen...how many times did Brady or Manning make a receiver relevant? Sure hill is a loss..but the dolphins couldve got two decent receivers for much less...I'm a bengals fan..we always have good receivers..chase looks to be special...bit other than that, none of the others were irreplaceable. Next man up. They'll be talking about howucj the chiefs offense opened up with the loss tyreek..u can't replace a QB. But five picks ..to basically be the only team who can negotiate with him. TERRON armstead is one of the best offensive linemen in the nfl and Connor Williams is GREAT stat-wise only allowing one sack. Biggest problem for Williams was penalties but the three years before last year he only had 5 or less penalties

While I'd rather him have gone to the NFC, the Bills can still beat the Phins by a solid margin, Hill doesn't change the fact that Allen & the Bills O usually crushes the Dolphins D, & that D is probably gonna regress some since Flores is gone, & McDaniel is an offensive minded coach. Bills still should be able to win the division by a couple games with a reversal of luck in 1 score games (were super unlucky last year). Overall this move helps the Bills bc it is a big hit to the Chiefs who've been the team that stood in the way the last 2 years, Hill killed them in the playoffs both times, he was contained in the regular season, not sure why such a big difference

That's a lot of speed that the Bills are going to deal with on the defensive end. It will be interesting what McDaniels has in plan now that he's calling the shots without Shannahan having the final say, but get ready for a lot of designed motion plays, zone running schemes, and jet sweeps.

@@dl4569 definitely will be a challenge but the Bills are usually in zone which can prevent speed from mattering as much, Bills have been the best in the league are preventing big pass plays since McDermott arrived, & they've contained Hill in the regular season before, it'll be interesting to see how they do so with multiple speed threats though, especially if it's early on in the season before White returns. Presumably the outside corners would be Jackson & maybe a cheap vet or a rookie. At least the safeties & slot corner will be excellent still

Tyreek Hill isn't just somebody you replace. Fastest WR the league has ever seen. Sure it's a great class but finding a guy like Tyreek who is always open is going to be tough. They got a great haul of picks for him tho.

Tua doesn't need to throw ball 50 yards every play, sheesh, people watch game but dont pay attention. 15 to 25 yard passes turn into 50 plus yards with speedy recievers. If ground game opens up, going to be tough to defense an offense with speed in running backs and receivers. And tua doesn't need lots of time for 15 to 25 yard passes, his weapon is his accuracy. That's what's going to kill defenses with speed now. Fans can cry arm all day, but defensive coordinator's are now going to be losing sleep figuring out a plan. McDaniels will have a plan 😉

That and not have that salary on their books. It is a better trade than the Diggs trade was for the Vikings. Compensation is close on the Adams trade with the Adams' first rounder at 22 and the Hill first rounder at 29.

As a Chargers fan as well they may be able to get a good receiver in the draft but it is going to be very hard to replace Hills YAC. That’s what made Hill so dangerous in that offense.
