You can unpatch if you're playing with a disc by un-installing but that's best work around for it

It hasn't Laser! I believe that's intended to work that way. It would be ridiculously hard to do a whole Chapter that involves you going through the open world without a way to restore MP. Then again you can run from all the battles ...

You're coming from a Platinum Trophy point of view. A good amount of players just want to beat things for the reward and move on. They don't care for the former so this helps them out!

@@Naztalgic_Memories True, But then those players can select a lower difficulty for the whole game and just ignore the 2 mini games once they have the proto relic? Dunno just seems like a redundant option.... Unless they wanna play the story on Hard but then 2 mini games on easy?

I am the ladder! I played the whole game on Dynamic and had a blast because I only care for good combat! Thankfully Rebirth delivered on that! I found some of the minigames difficult and I'd love an accessibility option for them. One that comes to mind is that boxing one in Gold Saucer. I spent hours failing on that. I even saved and lowered the difficulty to easy and it didn't do anything. Minigames are separate from the difficulty you're playing on! I only got my win after I started Pausing right before the punch went out. So yes, I'd love to play minigames on Easy while still having hard actual fights in the game! @@benjaminsisko4519

@@Naztalgic_Memories That makes sense, I agree some of the mini games are way too difficult. and it sucks that you have to beat them all if you want the Platinum. I prefer and easier combat challenge so I can get on with the story and exploration and maxing out the party. Thanks

That'll probably not happen considering they did this for Remake!

I know just wishful thinking I'm not concerned about not doing them just the materia capping farming time is a tad slow

Well we can always hope if the community is loud enough! @@Yuzuha2.0 I have a guide on my channel that I used to level my materias. It gives the most AP in the shortest time as all you have to do is hold shortcut and kill the enemies without ever moving! Pretty chill farm if you have a second monitor!
