Take something of mine i'll give you something you dont want! I live America bitch i dont give a flying fuck you THINK you own something when you dont and think you are going to take it from me without consequences and repercussions!
Exactly. Pretty much everything about MC tradition was stolen from early 20th century interwar youth groups. Most original MCs were WII veterans that regressed back the their pre war youth culture as a way to reintegrate into society. Teenage arrested development and hooliganism. In the 70s and 80s MCs were overrun by now geriatric boomers. Today it is just boomers serving as Cub Scout den leaders for the social rejects they recruited.
When I was young my best friends older brother was a member of a top tier MC. We hung out with them alot, then I went into the military. I learned at a young age, you don't decide yourself what patch or military award yourself as to what to wear. Your peers will let you know what you earned and when to wear it.
I used to ride in a 3 piece patch club, it's been defunct for many years now, your giving out very good advice and people need to respect. Trust me most of these coffee cup bikers need listen to you.
As a combat veteran, it's simple :if you didn't earn it dont wear it.. show respect..mind your own business.. been riding since the 2000s,never had any issues.. social media have created a platform where everyone feels safe to talk RECKLESS..until they come to the real world..this is a culture ,we all family in the end.. its all about RESPECT..yall be safe #GHOSTIN
I get it. I’m not in a club but I respect people that are. It’s no different to me than people dressing up like they served in the military. It’s disrespectful to the vets that did and many of them lost friends and brothers so it’s insulting.
@@jacobgibson9814 sorry. No. Stolen valor is pretending to be a veteran, a hero. 1% bikers, are by no means heros, or people to be looked upto. I have no issue with them, but they arent the same. Im not someone to look upto either. To be clear.
@@cliffitir many 1%er clubs do a lot for their community. Runs, toy drives, fund raisers, veteran support, family support, childrens advocates. I look up to people like that.
@@cliffitir Many of the OG 1%'ers were/are combat veterans. Many were Vietnam veterans, some were SOG etc... which was just part of the reason that everybody knew to stay out of their business. They weren't just punks acting like gangsters, but you didn't want to piss them off. At least that was my experience in SoCal. I agree it's different. The basic rule for everything should be "No Posers!"
Fuck around and find out laughing man. After 300 outside the wire missions in Iraq your fashion Police gonna get woke the fuck up for even THINKING about approaching me over my clothes.
If you aren’t a biker then you probably won’t be wearing biker things and hanging out in biker spots. And beyond that you probably wouldn’t be trying to impersonate a 1 % club etc. so you shouldn’t worry
It’s David again. This video is a perfect example of “club life”. It’s all good as long as all clubs know the rules. Many thanks to Sose for educating everyone. As an ST rider, if I see a good place to eat that is surrounded by club bikes, I’m not going to have any issues going in for a meal. I’ll pay my due respect with a head-nod to any other biker there. I’ll keep to myself. And I’ll be just fine. Back in the day, Jap-bike riders and Harley riders NEVER gave the biker wave to each other. Now, most riders are cool with what such a wave means. It means “riding is dangerous, I appreciate that, be well” Rarely, I will come across another biker who, when given “the wave”, will take their left hand from the handlebar, and place it firmly and obviously on the top of their thigh. That’s a major “dis”. But, I don’t care. I get “dissed” all the time on my bike or in my cage. Thank you again Sose for sharing knowledge. 👍
It's all about respect in the culture and I get that, but the one thing that has always bothered me is outlaws want to live without rules, but have the most rules. There should one simple rule: Show Respect.
I've read several "Wouldnt give it up" comments on topics such as this. As a young man, I found myself in a few situations where making the wrong choice wouldnt work so well for me. With this being said, as a non club member if an outlaw club wants my patch, take it. If you want my jacket take it. If you want an apology, I will give one which is sincere. I dont know how many guys I can defend against, but I do know how many I will be facing once things start (every club member around). That $5 patch isn't worth a trip to the ER, keep your mouth shut and count your blessings.
I always ask members of my local 1% Club if they're okay. My only patches on my cut are on right side a armed forces patch and on left side the logo of the soccer team I follow
I see people wearing the mayans patches too like the sons patches. People have to understand that in the real world full patches earned their ‘stripes’ and wearing fake patches will get you in trouble and that’s the message that’s been repeatedly said in your videos and is literally common sense. People have to be careful and heed Sose’s message and take it from someone who knows what he’s saying. Love your videos bro and keep it up! Much respect to you!!!
@Niko H for sure I completely agree with you. It’s those who haven’t been in any war or are posing with diamond patches or 1%er patches or even ones from tv shows that are the problem and I agree with the fact that actual full patches will react because they earned that right to do so
I appreciate your videos. I’m new to this world and not looking to join with anybody, but definitely looking to keep myself out of trouble. The information has been invaluable.
I grew up in that shit and there was always that guy that felt the need to go over the rules every time he started drinking. TBH that's what pushed me away from the prospecting was how many rules there were for guys that considered themselves "more free" than the other 99.
#GHOSTIN Great video Sose. I'm in a 99 club, it's a Veteran MC, we have an MC cube, but we have the blessing to wear it. We stay completely neutral and never take sides with other clubs, we are a Vets helping Vets club. People need to be well aware of the things you talk about, and I very happy you make sure that they are informed. I have been around the culture for over 30 years, and am always learning something new. If you stop learning and think you know it all. You better step away, because you will end up in a bad place through Complacency. Keep the great videos coming Sose. God bless you my man.
#Ghostin Sose. Fantastic wisdom and education. I’m glad the smaller club stood up to the bigger club. That’s balls and the sign of real men. Thank you for always keeping it real. Many blessings love and respect my brother
Always great advise. So many are even unaware that we have completely different society rules; the way of being. Keep getting the word out; you do it so well. Ride safe.
I have 1% tattoos and since left an outlaw club.I get looks but never been questioned.I will live the rest of my days defending the lifestyle even though I'm Independent, lone Wolf.Stay up on 2 wheels Brothers.
I really enjoy playing your videos for my old man. He don't know this life. I've been riding since I was a teenager. I've been around people in clubs and people who just ride. Patch or no patch its a way a life for me and many others. But there are rules that people in this life understand or should understand. So my man learns from your videos so he can understand when we go places that involve what I do so he knows so there are no problems. Its funny because he was like I knew the shows like SOA were fake. But I didn't realize that there was some hard truth about it as well. Hes a great dude can get along with anyone. We grew up in the same small town and everyone in this town had dirt bikes and stuff. When I found out he never even drove a dirt bike I knew I had my hands full. I took him with me to buy this last bike I just bought. I didn't tell him I bought this bigger bike so that if he tells me he wants to learn to ride that its big enough for him. My smaller bike wouldn't have fit him. However its flipped a switch that has made me want to go even badder. So I have to thank you because if him hearing these video didn't make me think that he might want to learn I would have stayed in a comfort zone and not realized just how uncomfortable riding spotters and dynas were. Now I fell in love with the Breakout and Fatboy and my God when girls say size don't matter they are lying bitches lmao!!!!!! Thanks to my demons brothers. I love hearing some of the stories you got going on. Keep them coming.
Just found your channel and subbed. I've never belonged to an MC but I've rode bikes since I was 15. My first new bike was in 1975 and it was a CB 360t Honda. I'm 66 now so that gives you some idea. I was way too poor to have much so my bike was a 365 thing. Plus I only dated chicks with cars. My first big boy bike was a used sportster that I dove forever. I rode with my best friend and we loved it. I remember going to Sturgis when it was real. Not all the trailered in chrome but bikes. . One think I knew, and obeyed, all those years were the rules. Never joined in with an MC or particularly an Outlaw club unless invited (happened only once) never disrespected a club's ride by moving through. I'll tell this story and shut up. Like I said, we never patched up or pretended to be anything. Just Gypsy Leather and the cool boots with the metal ring...(now that's old....). Anyway, I was 16 and taking my (all I could afford but loved) used Honda up to where a girl I knew lived in Colorado. I didn't know jack about altitude as I was a flat lander from Oklahoma. Anyway, my fuel mixture was all screw up when I got high and I was forced to pull over. No phones back then. A very large Outlaw MC came by and there were a ton of bikes. First one pulled over and then a bunch stopped. Not only did they fix my carbs, they showed me what to do coming down. Super nice guys and the only time I was invited to ride with an MC. I've had people call me a liar but it's true. All those Harley's and my Honda on a run. Ha. I couldn't stay up with them or the formation they were running so I kicked out after a while but man that was fun. Anyway, I'm old and not just work on gravity fed bikes as a hobby. With my cancer I can't ride much but decided to restore a 1975 Honda CB360t (my first new anything I ever owned). It was rough but I've hand sanded, rewired and updated every inch. She's almost ready for the front forks and tank. Way too much info I know, but I just wanted to say that Clubs, particularly 1% guys, aren't bad. They have rules and they have honor. People get in trouble when you disrespect something they have earned and lived their lives by. I'll keep watching but shut up and just follow the pack and ride tail
Your channel is very educational about the culture. I’m not a biker, but I’m learning things about my brother. I always wanted to know what the 1% patch meant. I’ve never asked him. I love your channel.
I’m of two minds about the entire topic of patches. On the one hand, having served over twenty years in the military I believe that freedom of expression is sacred. On the other, I also believe that only a fool puts something on without knowing what it means or where it comes from. Case in point, back in the 80s and early 90s British Knight was a very popular brand of leisure and sports wear yet almost no one knew that the founder and majority owner of that company was the Grand Wizard of the KKK. Wearing that clothing line financially supported racism and bigotry yet most of the people wearing it had no idea and even after being told had to be shown, in clear and incontrovertible evidence that this was the truth. I’ll add that there’s something of a middle ground in my mind. If a particular patch, logo or piece of art in whatever medium (patch, silkscreen, etc) is copyrighted then there’s no question that those who are part of the group/organization that holds that copyright have every right to insist that anyone not a part of that organization should and can’t wear that emblem. Violence should be avoided if possible as it only brings negative attention and handling matters peacefully will avoid that if not actually engender goodwill towards the person(s) or group that educate the “offender.”
Great episode!!! It’s been awhile and I’m getting caught up on your channel. Your way with words is inspiring, I struggled most my life with that until the last decade or so. ✊🏿✊🏽✊🏻#ghostin✊🏻✊🏽✊🏿
If you aren't a member? Didn't bust ass to EARN them? God bless your soul cause no one else will be able to! Have respect, and common sense people. Even us women know that's just asking for a beating and were not club brothers! Stay safe, bless you for teaching people every day
People need to have common when buying patches You can't be a poser and not think there's repercussions for your actions There's members who have died , killed and are doing tall time in prison for their diamond for their 1% Someone wants a diamond earn it Great vid Sose Stay blessed
What up brother? Another great video & great knowledge! I’m not a 1% … but I’m definitely III 👊🏼 much respect …. keep passing the word … we all want the same things 🇺🇸🍻😎🙏🏼
OTR trucker here. Was in Ohio two weeks ago and saw some Dbag with an SOA patch flies past me. 5 minutes later, Hells Angels. I'm guessing he got off the turnpike coz I didn't see a wreck. Of course I'm only guessing.
Everytime I see a program about "biker culture" I think of South Park and the episode called the "F word". For those who haven't seen this particular episode the kids in South Park decide that the word F*"'G would be a good word to call "bikers". Since I've watched that episode I've made it a point to use that term when I see a bunch of "bikers". It's my culture you understand. Who died and made these people decide who is and isn't a biker.
Mad respect. I get upset when people throw their butts out the window. But if I only say it to a regular smoker in a car versus a van full of silverbacks, then Im inconsistent and shouldn’t try to police anyone about the butts. Way to get to crux of the issue and speak truth hombre.
I often ride out to a rather popular biker hang out. I was there in July and I saw a guy with a 3 piece cut, territory bottom rocker, and he did have a diamond, but it had an 8 in it. I didn't say anything as it is not my business to do so, I was just there for some beer and food, but I did look up the club, whose name will remain unmentioned, and it is a legit club, but that diamond bugged me, as did the territory rocker, because this club is NOT an outlaw club at all, and definitely NOT the dominant club in the area. I am sure the guy was a nice dude, he seemed like it anyway, but I wondered to myself what might have happened were the dominant club in the area to roll up to the same place. This was right at the time when hundreds of members of the dominant club were rolling through the area on their way to a funeral, so I still don't know what to make of it. Blessing? Perhaps, but unlikely. Still unsure.
Sooo as the saying goes patches are earned not bought so it's possible they were given the Diamond and territory rockers is kinda different from what I heard you could have County rockers buy you need quite a few chapters and for state you need to be in 2 or 3 states could be wrong and it all depends on the dominant 9 times out of 10
@@shanelefever7704 This is actually in Alberta Canada, and the bottom rocker said "Alberta", which is a very very large province, so I can't see it being ok with the dominant club here. I could be wrong, not sure, it just seemed like something I myself personally would not wear.
good looking girls should always take precedant over politics. u can argue politics every other day, but girls that will it hold up while keeping it down should always take 1st place. another good topic Sose #ghostin
Sose, just to touch base on your opening statement. There is a national Christian MC that rocks a diamond. Granted, the vast majority of their founders all came from the 1% world. And they have a breakdown of why they rock a diamond, it is on their website. And they have 1%er blessings in their respective towns. Now, that doesn't mean if travelling, a club who doesn't know them might not make an issue out of it. But these guys out there, and well respected. #Ghostin!
@@DemonsRow what is your honest feeling, as a 1%er, about this Christian club rocking a diamond? It doesn't say 1%, but it does say MC in the middle of it. I would appreciate and respect your feedback on that.
Might be a little late but i just got the Outlaw Biker rag with your interview in it. Making big steps to spread the info across the board. Great job you're doing. Glad things are well with you. Keep it on 2's doing what you do. Later... 👍✌️
I may have what amounts to a stupid question but it is reference to the diamond patched you just spoke about. Let say I wanted to wear a diamond patch that has meaning to me. I served in the United States Marine Corps and was with the 1st Marine Division. Our insignia is a blue diamond with a red "1" in the middle surrounded by stars that signify the battles we were apart of in WWII. I quess my question is should I maybe go to a local COC meeting or try to contact the local club in the area to ask for permission. I am all about respect and showing that respect, just want to make sure I do things right if I go down this path. Other than that, love youe channel bro. You always have great content, never bull shit and get straight to the point. Much love to you and stay safe on twos. Thank you
#GHOSTIN BABY another good one bro i have a nerdy neighbor that bought a Harley and a vest and started putting patches on it .I told him to be mindful of what your doing out there and i turned him onto you told him get a little education before you get smashed.
I have been riding for over 30 yrs. Never been in a Diamond Club or Outlaw club. I was associated with a American Legion Riders. What I have been noticing is some people want to outlaw but when outlaw comes knocking that is where they get an education
Where I'm at. There's one big club. Remember seeing them when I was just a kid. They don't fuk around.. when I see them I make sure I don't stare or even look at their bikes to long. I've seen 2 of them up close in action. They put in the work. I always wondered if they r a big thing just here, or all over America. I aint asking them. Lol
I’m a Marine and have been out for awhile, but I served my time in the desert and in Africa. I have always been proud of the fact that only about 1% of the population is in the active duty military so I almost got a 1% tattoo not knowing the outlaw club meaning. Of course once I learned what it means to outlaw clubs I didn’t go through with it out of respect, but it did piss me off because in my mind I earned the right to put 1% on my body because of what I did for my country. I also understand the major majority of outlaw club members would not see it that way so I quickly got over it. And I’m glad I learned what it means to others before I had to learn the hard way. 😂
#GHOSTIN In the 60's some Clubs wouldn't the law vests are cuts because they meant you belonged to another group. The Cut was the first step as a hang around
I just like to ride. I rode w/a patched club last wknd that were Combat Vets for a ride. I'd name them, but as a Cold War Vet, former Armored Cav, I won't. The thing that gets me is the Hells Angels started out w/Veterans, but they treat people that aren't in their group badly. Even other Vets. I'm former Armored Cav, Army, we give all the other branches shit, which is normal. But openly f%ck w/the US military, and we generally stand together. There should be more like that IMO. But maybe that's just me. Toujours Pret, Brave Rifles.
I’m no longer in a club. But I definitely support the club I was in. They’re all still my brothers. All their patches were blessed. It’s all about respect. #ghostin
We need to do a interview i came from gangs out here on the east but i wouod love to get your insight on it coming from the streets to it if possible demonsrow@gmail.com
Great advice, if you don't know ask! Just a sign of respect. Off topic but did you know Queen Elizabeth was a mechanic and ambulance driver during ww2? She got her hands greasy and could fix an engine. Not what you would expect hunh. Sad about her passing. God bless and keep it on 2s.❤️🙏
That's why the only 2 small patches on my vest are a subdued American Flag and a patch that says Vance and leathers.... Plus I'm not trying to pretend to be somebody I'm but I'm not it's all about respect
Unless if they don't understand what the patch stands for, I don't get why someone would want to walk around with something they haven't earned. It's about respect for those who have put in work for that patch just like any other medal or honor
I don’t understand stand why tf anyone would throw patches on just to look cool or look like they a club I mean it’s common knowledge clubs don’t play with Amazon patches I say let them get wrecked but side note sose I gotta say you are growing fast but since day 1 with the parking lot vids anyone has a question you take the time to actually read like and reply much respect for that bro you show your viewers more respect then any other creator on RU-vid just doin that I salute you for that
First off. #GHOSTIN, as always Sose.. nailed it, just tonight I went to a store and the girl behind the counter is wearing a support hoodie for a top 4 1% club, I wasn't exactly sure which area it came from as i had never seen the area before . So I asked... she had no clue what part of the country it came from, a quick check confirmed what I thought, mean while my old lady asked her if she knew what that Hoodie meant and she said ya, it was her mom's boyfriend who gave it to her,(... no clue) so i asked her if she really knew what it meant, ... deer in the headlights... told her if your gonna fly color and represent, you better know your shit... people get hurt for less... cheap lesson learned, keep up the good work, look forward to the next video..Cheers from the Great White North 🇨🇦
@@DemonsRow I also saw motorcycles with club names and logos on same with patches if your seen with them and your not a member of that club you'll get in trouble I was at a bike club for the day a guy who was not a member of a club was riding a custom bike with a clubs logo the members of that club came to him beat him the stripped his bike down because the club was also a garage/workshop and belonged to this club who beat this guy
I have a hypothetical question: let's say I owned a motorcycle-based business and wanted to advertise by riding with an airbrushed image of the company logo on the back of a jacket, vest, etc. with no patches, rockers or anything else of that ilk. Would that violate cultural protocol?
Thanks for the clarification. I don't yet ride and I don't have the aforementioned company, but I would love to bring both to fruition and didn't want to assume and risk any accidental disrespect
Ima tell you this right now. If you got a logo that has a skull or something that a bad boy biker might wanna wear as a patch, do not wear that shit in public ever. If it's a business logo that is obviously a business logo nobody is gonna give a fuck, they ain't gonna talk to you or Nothing so you ain't gotta fucking worry... But if the logo looks like something that an outlaw would wear on their cut, best believe if we find out you gonna get repercussions no matter where you are in the world or what you're doing... So I hope that gives u an answer.
I saw a member of outlaw mc (was a full patch) without his MC cube....there was holes in the cut where it used to be, I have never heard of this...csn you shed some light?
Awesome video bro! Never wear patch you didnt earn!, no live show today bro? I would of missed it anyway so happy theres no live today lol #ghostin from Vancouver 🇨🇦
St places like sturgis there are stalls that sell all these patches that you shouldn't wear and don't appear to care who they sell to. Curious if 1 percent clubs or Outlaw MCs take issue with that at all? Or if I'm mistaken about the storeperson maybe they do warn people who buy certain patches
If you're not in the club you have no reason to be wearing a cut that has somebody's patch on the back the 1 percenters have the right to remove that patch. Remember wearing a patches instead of symbol you have to earn that you just do not put it on your back
My father served in Vietnam and his unit had a red diamond on his uniform...would that be allowed on the left arm in the same place as was on his uniform?
