This gave me some closure after finishing arcane because seeing jinxes still be totally insane but having that very tiny bit of powder left still bonding with her sis is nice
Hearing Vi talk to Jinx like she's an old friend and not a broken little girl is surprisingly what I needed after watching Arcane. The second ending is what happened and I refuse to hear otherwise. XDXD
Me: Jinx giving the bunny to Vi is the cannon ending, it's so sweet and home some and fills my heart. Other: I don't know, the capture Cait ending seems more inline with Arcane and their current relationship. Me: *loads shotgun* I said Bunny ending was cannon!
I know that bunny is in Arcane for this reason. I refuse to accept anything else. Vi getting the bunny to give to Powder when she was going to take the blame was so sweet. The idea that Jinx could give it to her once they've settled this absolute batshit insanity of a finale has got me hoping. It would be so freaking sweet in Arcane considering the history they setup for it.
I love how either Vi embrace's Jinx's manical side if she doesn't hurt anyone but goes against her if she does. Same with Vi's arc for Jinx, as either she allows her to explode *reasonably* or take away her guns.
I believe Arcane even set up this arc through the Arcane gemstone; the stone, as Viktor and Jayce discover, is under control when you expose it to high amounts of energy, a.k.a when you "crank it", let its energy come loose with less restraint instead of controlling it, when it just explodes. The gemstone is a symbol for raw, untamed, sheer chaotic power. What is a better definition for Jinx/Powder than raw, untamed, sheer chaotic power? The best way to keep her under control is to let her go loose... within reason. That is an arc Vi can still go through and it's something that rings true here AND with Arcane Jinx: just look at what Silco did with her. He let her loose and she LOVED HIM!
Oh that second ending was so wholesome 😢 Jinx and Vi together bonding, having a nice calm talk, exploding stuff, gifting presents and remembering the past. Good stuff
@@shitakemewmew she isn't precisely cured, given she's hardly wihout issues.its also been a few years since arcane events and it's a relatively calm(by jinx standards) situation so she might just be able to deal with vi's slip up better.
@@ryanwill32 hope so.. perhaps if vander actually alive(or became Warwick) on season 2.. I'll believe she atleast felt little less okay..? I mean.. yay just two of my bro died but not my dad!
My depression is suddenly healed, I have smiled for the first time since forever, my illness has gone away, and now I can look forward to Arcane season 2 with hope in my heart. Thank you Lorekkan.
I wish I would find this video right after I watched arcane... I had to go through all phases of denial and post-arcane depression but watching this in time would made it so much easier.
The way vi carries Jinx fr the explosion 🥺 my heart is cured once more! Im so ansty for season two because ive been hoping vi and jinx will end their feud after watching arcane
Considering how Jinx acts on the regular in Arcane alone(LOL especially), you really see a reunion happening? Especially after what she did at the end and what Silco reinforces *your perfect*
If there ever is gonna be a reunion between these two, i.e one joining the others cause, I hope its actually Vi who joins jinx rebelling way against Piltover. I still find it kinda hard to believe that Vi would join the Enforcers based on her background in Arcane. Perhaps we get a clearer picture in Arcane S2, like Vi realizing that joining the enforcers is the best way to stop the Shimmer gang problem in Zaun (perhaps Sevika the new leader?) Jinx is basically a rebel without a cause but imagine Vi as the leader of Zaun vs Piltover and how she could point Jinx in the right direction. Yeah yeah I know she has a little crush on Cait but at heart, she still should be a fissure kid. Also, this video maybe gave some more insight in Jinx last words to Vi after the dramatic conclusion at Jinx tea party (wont spoil more for those who havent seen it). Maybe she very much still loves her big sister and dont want bad things to happen to her, but maybe SHE is actually the one of the two who realizes that HER mental sickness has gone too far for them to ever be a close family again. When Jinx says "Things changed when you left, I changed" at their first reunion, I think she is referring to her mental illness rather than anything else. On several occasions, she seems very aware that her mental episodes is a problem and perhaps what she did at the tea party was the final straw. Its like she purposely chooses to become a loner to protect those she loves since she knows she cant control herself during her episodes, and rather make her guns and chomper grenades her only friends.
@@kikithebunny5182 True. If Jinx wanted to kill her, at least she would have forced a fight to the death etc. And same can be said about Jinx and Cait I guess. Maybe its like the Joker in The Dark knight: "Kill you? I don't wanna kill you. What would I do without you?"
It's so weird but comforting how chill they are around each other, it sounded as if Jinx just suprise visiting her sis was the most normal thing ever and not a war criminal infiltrating an enforcer academy in order to meet her sister whom she'd had a falling out with Also VI calling jinx, well Jinx, hurts man
Like, the first ending feels more in line with their characters... But the second one is really just super sweet. Also, I can half imagine Caitlyn calling up Vi for the ransom and being like "Your sister is looking for you. I've sent her your way. Meet her outside and... Please don't cause too much destruction!"
i'm suddenly healed of my arcane depression. but honestly, this is so nice to watch. hopefully season two shows this kind of vibe between thhe sisters!
@@samsamtls1218 mass-murdering (if it happens, which is likely) because she got groomed by Silco ? She could have done nothing and things were miraculously going their way... If you think "right" is being herself, yep, she sure Jinxed it again. Don't get me wrong, she's still my favorite character, Viktor close 2nd.
maybe season 2 will have a redemption arc or at least vi and jinx will reconcile, after all if dc can make harley quinn into a hero and marvel can do the same with deadpool all while they're both still insane then powder might become an antihero character. i know at that point it's probably hopeless but i want to believe that they can have a moderately happy ending
Seeing this gives me hope for what comes next to arcane, because arcane is supposed to be a prequel of some sort right!? So it should gives us a reason why they are still happy together and jinx still has a bit of powder ( and yes I know there are two endings one good and one bad, but I still have hope, wishing that arcane 2 will bring us to a good ending, hopefully) I hope jinx turns into an anti hero, meaning that her actions are ultimately noble but aren't what a hero would do. Such as blow up a place 🤣🤣
Don't give up hope, at least one version of Jinx and Vi have a happy ending! Certainly, someone in Riots is not a complete nihilist and won't give us such a dreary ending for the two.
honestly i never shed tears when watching an animation, yes i feel sad sometimes but only sad, no tears. but arcane does it perfectly, what a masterpiece👏👏👏
@@applesas942 To be fair, it can be another word for it. But it sounds relativly distanced. Mostly if you talk about your love as a partner, you usually talk to a person, you aren't that familliar. Of course it still can be seen as a romantic bound, especially if some hypercorrect person like Cait says that, but it just sounds a bit funny.
All it means is that Cait is the type to run a tight ship and keep things strictly professional when on duty. Once her shift is over and she goes home she will lighten up a bit and talk about Vi differently.
This is pretty much Riot saying "ok, we let them depressed with Arcane, let's make them happy again before we lose our audience" HOLY HELL, IT WORKED, MY HEART
The ransom ending is the therapy I needed after arcane shattered my heart into countless pieces and then scattered those pieces across Runeterra. Even if there isn't anything as wholesome in s2 or s3 (thought I refuse to stop holding out hope against hope unless Jinx dies), this is a pleasant fantasy. Arcane hurts so much I needed that. I needed escapist to media to escape from my escapist media.
the vi voice actress sound so lovable and tender when tell jinx to stop. ooowwwnnnn an super strong and tough girl that hides a lovable side. i'm kinda in love....
4:27 it's like that one scene in act 1!!!!! I think it was when Vi told her that what makes her different makes her stronger Well geez Vi, after arcane THAT hits different, and way stronger too so I guess you're right
Oh wow I think they kinda ended up mashing this narrative together in arcane didn't they? The bunny is a point of focus in a lot of scenes with Jinx, what it means still isn't quite sure, a reminder of VI or "an old friend" would be logical though. In the end in arcane she did end up kinda giving vi the bunny as well as kidnapped Cait. I wonder if this means that they'll mix Viktors and Jayces two endings as well, really exited how taht whole thing will go anyway
Despite everything Jinx did and killing Milo and the other guy in arcane I still think she was in the right, she didn't know what was happening, what would happen and even though they grew up in a rough place Vi and Jinx were still sisters and they were all each other had, so despite feeling the others the way she reacted to her was very wrong and in the end she was so desperate to get her back she didn't think at all of what she had been through and only kept making excuses as to why she couldn't come back and while she was in prison and she truly couldn't get back she should have at least taken some time to look at it from jinx's point of view, and in the end she even got the person that took care of her really took care of her not out of profit or to get another powerful loyal subordinate, which is surprising considering how I thought he would act towards her he actually treated her like his daughter even would have given up zaun for her and because of Vi, Jinx killed him, so I really hope the second season of Arcane can explain why she still treats her like a sister. Tell me what you think
She did know what was happening when she remembered that the crystal is the reason the building blew up in the first place.. “the way she reacted to her is wrong” nah it was understandable, theres no right or wrong, theres people that claim they would do much worst then the lil slap she got. Saying “she only made excuses as to why she couldn’t come back” is a bad take, ain’t excuses there facts. Vi has been in contact with jinx for less than 10 or even 5 mins since she came out of prison, the one she been stuck in for years thinking her sister was taken hostage or dead. “She should at least look at in from jinx point of view” See u gotta make it make sense. She has no time to see anything from jinx point of view with all the stuff that keeps happening to Vi & even then Jinx herself doesn’t look at anything from Vi’s point of view either. So you’re not bout to give jinx these passes with flying colors and then mention Vi & say “oh she should of did this or she should of did that” nah thats not how that works & is completely unfair. Jinx obsession with Vi wont end, thats her character.
I like this version of Jinx. It would be cool if Jinx became less violent. Still a terrorist but not the one who kills innocent people for blind revenge. More like boys from anime series Terror in Resonance
@@H240909 for the capture Caitlyn ending Jinx locks Caitlyn somewhere and then blows up there. You can see that by looking power select page. There on the capture Caitlyn side a rocket is sent to Caitlyn.
@@H240909 she also says she locked her when she faces Vi. Also she enters the academy without any problem when you choose ransom Caitlyn. This may mean there are few people there. As you said it is a police office, so it is not a place full of police. There must be just few police as instructors and Jinx can easily pass them since most of them are busy with teaching the students. You are just trying to find an excuse to not like. First look if your opinion makes sense which in this case does not. You really need to learn the difference between academy and office.
So this is basically the relationship vi x caitlyn and jinx don't let her babysit the kids alone. Wait I now cloning is a thing thus infancy technology could be too but if not and they have to make a baby the old fashion way which champions would you chooses. Or just adopt like vander and silco.
I don't really play League of Legends and half way through Arcane. Imagining what it's like in thier world I wouldn't go anywhere near Piltover or Zaun. One side is Rapture and the other is a slightly less evil Alliance from Firefly.
So because this is considered partially canon but all reactions (divergent to the main story are not) are how the characters would react if they were in that situation.....so...jinx would go back to vi. That actually opens some doors I thought were never open.
Not for this topic but there are some comics in the league of legends universe page. They are done with the cooperation of marvel so they are very good.
