I get that mining Hedera Hashgraph will have less compute requirements as compared to BitCoin. But could you give us an estimate of how much RAM and which GPU model one will need to have to be able to 'mine' Hedera Hashgraph? Thanks!

No estimate can really be given since each individual shards will be flexible based on the need. Some cases will require Raspberry Pi while other cases will require one single beefy GPU and a good internet connection. There will not be a single model to suit them all, it will depend heavily on which shard you connect to in the near future.

first of all Hedera is Proof of Stake like they said in the Interview. So there is no mining period. you can proxy stake your coins to a node in that case you dont need a computer at all and will still recieve payments just for lending your voting rights to a Node. If you decide to stake yourself you can earn more and in that case you need a computer. how fast the computer is is absolutely up to you. slow computer? you earn less as you can validate less Transactions/s. as stated in the interview, most important will be your GPU so if you want to stake yourself with your own node just make sure to have a good graphics card and youll be fine.

@@TPGodlike -- To clarify, not every node will require a good graphic card. As it was previously stated, some nodes can run on a raspberry Pi, it will all depend on what the shard you be connected to main focus will be.

Hedera does not control whether its coin will be on exchanges, but we anticipate that HBAR will likely be traded on exchanges at some point in 2019. We don’t expect Open Access or hbar release to investors to occur until (US) summer 2019. Keep an eye out for updates!

Nodes outside the Hedera council are currently not available. Once nodes do become available, they will issue a press release. Make sure you subscribed to their newsletter if you plan to be ahead of the curve.

If you don't understand a project, don't judge it. It is just common sense. In fact, I seen you around just trolling and you have yet proven you know anything of what Hedera is trying to accomplish or how the technology works. I am afraid your comment only promotes toxicity, not constructive feedback.
